The fireplace is almost completely concealed, between the keg and a chest containing several trans-clear bottles and a fish. However, the trans-orange flames look splendid and I like this air conditioning unit too, under a photograph of Thor, Valkyrie, Korg and Miek during happier times. This wall also features a clip for attaching Stormbreaker, efficiently using every available space. With just about 250 pieces to play with, the designer of this set should be honoured for the work of art they’ve created, seriously, the build here is a genuine work of art in terms of minimal piece design detail. Keepability [5]– This will be a great set to hold, because of the novelty of the characters and overall concept. I cannot see Bro Thor showing up in any other set

Miek is really simple – a purple head with his 6 eyes and mandibles, on purple flower pieces, which I believe is a new colour for the element. Following the 'snap', Thor enters complete depression and abandons his muscular physique, becoming noticeably overweight. Minifigures appear poorly-suited to recreating different body types, although this torso decoration seems effective and continues onto the hips. Additionally, these chequered trousers correspond precisely with the onscreen character. Another nice nod on the fireplace is the sailboat which was actually present on the fireplace in the scene. This is going to be one of the most-popular and best-selling Marvel sets of 2021 as it strikes the perfect balance between accessibility due to its size and price, and also the inclusion of fan favourite characters like Korg.Despite all this, however, take away the source material for comparison and this minifigures is wonderfully unique in it’s design, and, if I’m being honest, I still love it. There are some really funny Easter Eggs and great Avengers Endgame references thrown in – such as this New Asgard Times newspaper, which has the headline “5 years after the blip”, which dates this as 5 years post-Thanos’ snap. And yes, Thor’s alternate face has his eyes lit up with lightning, because “This is the ideal make body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.” Korg first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Thor: Ragnarok. He’s wearing his Hawaiian print casual outfit with headphones from the Endgame movie. This Korg minifigure in vacation clothes is great. Even without knowing who Korg is, he would be an amusing tourist visiting Earth in any vacation scene you choose. Miek Real Value [4]– Sets at this price point are rare, and even rarer for it to feel like LEGO didn’t cut corners

Still, for the exclusive minifigures that include a new piece, the sheer quantity of accessories and the overall stellar design including graphic design, the price doesn’t strike us as unreasonable. — Pictures — LEGO components are dropped, heated, crushed, twisted and analysed to make sure they fulfil rigorous global safety standards. Speaking of Stormbreaker, that’s also included in the set with the same build as its other appearances, such as in 76193 The Guardians’ Ship and 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle. Its position in the corner makes it hard for Thor to carelessly pop caps off bottles with it like he does in the movie, but you can create your own scenes with it. The exterior of the home isn’t neglected, either. The door has a small stone stoop with round tile “stones” adding texture.

Customer reviews

Beginning with Korg, this is my biggest disappointment with the set, in all honesty. Given the character’s size and stature in the cinematic universe, a Big Fig would have made far more sense than the minifigure we get here. It’s not to say I don’t like this minifigure, but it doesn’t represent the movie version of the character very well at all and I don’t think many people would have been able to guess who this is supposed to be had it been part of a different set. Thanks to Marvel fans’ need for the Bro Thor, this Korg variant is better received. And yes, why use a pizza cutter when you can use Stormbreaker. Not only does it cut Titan heads off, it also cuts pizza neatly! Here’s a look at Bro Thor and Korg’s bachelor pad – it’s an absolute mess, with pizza boxes, bottles, slices of pizza strewn all over the place. It probably smells as bad as it looks. The set doesn’t look like much from the outside, and we’d have to wonder why anyone would display it this way when all the details are on the inside. That said, the messy mix of materials isn’t actually out of place for the buildings in New Asgard. Beneath the sign is a sentence in Norwegian “velkommen til Tønsberg” which means “Welcome to Tønsberg“, a small village located in Norway which housed the Tesseract for decades, and is the location of New Asgard – a new settlement of Asgardians following the destruction of their planet.

Give kids the best in imaginative play and creative display with LEGO Marvel Bro Thor’s New Asgard (76200). This multifaceted set lets young super heroes aged 7 and up relive scenes from Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame movie and play out amazing adventures of their own. This is probably one of my favourite small sets in 2021, and will truly delight and satisfy LEGO Marvel Super Heroes fans. It’s incredulous that LEGO actually turned the New Asgard scene into the set, AND gave us a Bro Thor minifigure with his belly and all.Overall, Bro Thor’s New Asgard is an incredible set for it’s price-range and pieces number, you get a lot of fantastic design for your money with this one.

Bro Thor’s New Asgard just screams fun, and you can immediately tell that the LEGO and Graphic Designers had plenty of fun with the set, with all the fun little Easter Eggs and references thrown into the mix.

This buildable play-and-display set helps to develop the imaginative and creative skills of Marvel movie fans aged 7 and up. I thought it was just some normal barrel, and there would be a kid-friendly explanation but nope, the instructions explicitly call for trans-yellow studs to be placed inside the keg. Maybe it’s a keg of lemonade…? Somewhat unusually for a LEGO set, the instructions have you place a number of things at odd angles off of single studs, including a pizza box, newspaper, a picture from Thor’s more victorious past, and the TV set.
