Description

In Holy Padna switches, this wobble is slightly more compared to Zealios V2 switches. So comparatively Zealios switches have an edge and positive factor to consider it.

Zealio– Though the 78 g Zealio has the heaviest spring among the Zealio lineup, these are for those who would like a lighter MX Clear but with a smoother bump than Holy Pandas. The tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top which is amazing.

While the tactile bump of the V1 Redux switches might be just a hair stronger than that of the OG V1 switches, they are altogether remarkably similar in terms of tactile bump placement, strength, and overall size as well. Zealios V2 (62g.) This is the silent version of the ever-popular Zealios V2. Just like its brother, the Zilents V2 is a damn good tactile switch. The Zealios and Zilents V2 share a lot of features, but you’ll find that the Zilents have slightly less tactility. This can be chalked up to the fact that it has a shorter travel.

The tactile bump of the Zealios V2 switches is not only a slightly stronger tactile bump, but it is definitely located earlier on in the downstroke and has a much less substantial linear pre-travel region.I forgot about these until I was writing the review, to be honest. Same boat as Hako switches. I’m excited to try some of these fairly soon. Zealio - For those that prefer a slightly lighter MX Clear, but want a bigger and smoother bump than MX Clears / Holy Pandas. The tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top. From beginning to end, the spring is heavier than all other Zealio variants. Zealio - "Crisp & responsive" tactile bump feeling at the very top with more cushion during bottom out than 65g Zealio V2. Tactile switches bring the crisp feeling without all the noise. There are a lot of options to choose from, so which ones are absolutely the best? What do you look for if you want an upgrade on brown switches? Spring grind has always been pretty bad in ZealPC’s switches in general. This is just something that happens, unfortunately. I would recommend lubing at least the springs for any ZealPC switch. It is quite detrimental to the experience and even having nice clean sounding/feeling springs, as small a change as it is, can make a pretty big difference.

The Zealio V1 Redux switches are a bit louder than the Tecsee Sapphire V2s in terms of overall volume. With respect to the type of sound, the Tecsee Sapphires though have much more of a contribution from scratch to the overall sound than the Zealios do. We also have the big upcoming contender: The holy panda. This guy has been the talk of the town for a while and direct comparisons between the two have been happening all over the place. In this review, I will not discuss the holy panda to too much detail. This is not a holy panda review. You will see a fair amount of tidbits concerning holy pandas, however, because that’s probably a lot of the market for the Zealio V2. The Glorious Holy Panda switches were revealed in 2020 to much fanfare. Glorious called these “the most tactile switches ever created”. While much of it is marketing hyperbole, you can’t deny that these are some of the best tactile switches out right now. Note: While there are 62g and 67g variants of the Zealio V1 Redux switches, this review will primarily be based on the 62g variant. Discussion of the 67g variant, when it does occur, will be explicitly stated. Appearance

dbrand was ROBBED

Zealio 67g - "Crisp & responsive" tactile bump feeling at the very top with more cushion during bottom out than 65g Zealio V2. Things that stayed the same: Housing sounds fairly loud and high pitched still - take that as you will, and the spring still grinds pretty hard. That’s not good.
