Description

At the end of the day, it is indisputable that the Yonex Super Grap is still a solid choice for an overgrip. Would I continue using it? In a heartbeat. It has been a steady companion throughout my long badminton journey so far, and I intend to continue on with it until I find a suitable replacement for it. Comments: I would say it's not as absorbent as the Wilson Pro or Tourna grip, but it's still a very good grip. I will try more in the future. Even if you’re a novice, you should employ overgrip because every professional player does. We’ve tried striking without one, and trust me; your hands will thank you. Plus, a cushioned overgrip is significantly more comfortable in the hands. Conclusion:

While the Yonex Super Grap is comfortable, there were others that out-perform it in this category, such as the Yonex Hi Soft Grap. Curious why? Read all about it in my review. A sense of familiarity does not necessarily equate to a perfect score, and I have faith that there are even better grips out there! Durability Grips are capable of enhancing a player’s play style, be it power or control. When selecting the ideal grip, players should be aware of which grips would complement their game and which ones should be avoided. Offense / Power PlayWas this a bad batch? Who knows, but I can’t see how this is a viable product if other customers get the same experience as they are useless within 5 minutes. Even Gasquet needs more playing time than that! Although these over-grips have their strengths, we recommend the Tourna Grip for its absorbency and performance. If you are a professional tennis player, no overgrip on the market will keep your hands dry. However, many players who say they sweat a lot from their hands sweat more on their forearms but don’t wear sweatbands, which means the sweat runs down onto their hands. Comments: This is an excellent grip. It really optimizes your performance is has great feel for perfect control. I strongly recommend this grip to anyone looking for a better game.

In Yonex’s 2021 catalog, it is claimed that this particular grip has been sold enough times to wrap the around the world 5 times! I don’t know about you, but that fact alone is mind-blowing to me! Comments: The best grip I have ever put on my racquet. I recommend this grip to anybody. My former grip of choice was the tourna grip. But after trying this grip there is no comparison between the 2. However, this was by far the worst overgrip I’ve ever used. You can see how it looked after a single hitting session below: To make matters worse, when I removed it, it left a ton of residue on the Wilson leather grip that I had to clean off. Comments: I have tried several different overgrips, and this one is the best. As far as sweat absorbency and comfort goes, the Yonex Super Grap beats all other overgrips.

I could feel this overgrip fraying after just 5 minutes of play, and it wasn’t long before a whole section of it had worn out and exposed the leather grip underneath.

Most players use their base grip (often a leather grip) and one overgrip over it. Federer uses this setup with the Wilson Pro Overgrip. Comments: This is the best grip ever. I like that it comes in various colors and it has soft feel, plus it last along time. The towel grip may develop an odor over time, as its excellent absorbency of sweat can lead to the cultivation of germs – so players may want to consider replacing their towel grip prior to it losing its usefulness. An alternative to extend the life of a towel grip is the application and usage of grip powders. Grip powders are applied directly to the hand and serve to reduce the amount of hand sweat produced, which can help prevent towel grips from reaching saturation and losing its effectiveness. Hardness can be broken down into hard or soft. Grips on the softer end provide comfort to the player and decreases the potential of developing blisters. Soft grips are bulkier and will enlarge the badminton grip more than a hard grip – which enables players a better grip to execute powerful shots, such as smashes. We would love to have you with us on our badminton journey and we hope to provide you with as much value as possible. Comments: I've used Head, Gamma, Prince, etc overgrips and found out this is the best since 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the price went up. I hope Yonex realizes the customer supports are the most factor to keep this product to be famous.
