Chest sizing varies widely depending on the garment, brand or range. Instead we have outlined below a few of the main types of fit found in our ranges and how they compare. Side tension straps are linked to the hipbelt. By tightening these straps you can stabilise the load but reduce the hipbelt flexibility. Where balance is critical tightening them can help you feel more secure. However, if you are striding out over easy terrain it’s better to loosen these straps to allow full hip flexibility. Despite my first impression, the Brize 25L is indeed designed with outdoor use in mind. Even if 905 grams of weight might sound like overkill for such a small capacity, the fit is so comfortable that you forget about it. A plain weave, high density 420 denier nylon 6,6 cloth that has a simple, abrasion resistant outer surface and good edge stability. Coated with polyurethane to increase weatherproofness and deflect dirt and contaminants.
