The world of Catwoman: Lonely City has introduced some pretty substantial changes to their version of the DC Universe, showcasing some surprisingly down-to-earth futures for the heroes and villains of Gotham City.During an encounter with Batman and Tarzan, a female thief, dressed as a cat, is revealed to be the princess of the tribe, as well as the priestess of its cat-cult, trying to reclaim the artifacts.

And following its official retirement, to Vertigo, with many old Vertigo titles published in Black Label trade dress. Its one of those books which is a fun saturday afternoon read and you will feel good after reading it and yeah the art is definitely worth it! Catwoman made her live-action debut in the 1966 Batman television series, portrayed by Julie Newmar; she was also portrayed by Lee Meriwether in the film adaptation and Eartha Kitt in the third season. Although the Joker uses his gauntlets to brutally murder Robin and Batgirl while forcing Batman to watch, Catwoman distracts him long enough for Batman to escape the Joker's hold and destroy the gauntlets. I was struck by how much thought and care Chiang has been able to put into this project, and that’s what makes this project so special…it only took one issue of this series for me to be convinced that this is the best idea DC has had in ages.

Rogues— Ten years into retirement The Rogues reunite for One Last Job that takes them to Gorilla City. It is later revealed that this Earth is a creation of her own mind, and she has not left the Prison Planet. But frequently enraged by Catwoman's actions, Two-Face reveals how much of him is still driven by his more brutal side -- getting him unceremoniously arrested by the story's conclusion.
