Authorisation to return products damaged during delivery must be requested within 3 days of delivery. VWR has the right to repair and return damaged products. In view of the wide range of uses of chemicals and apparatus, the customer will be solely responsible for determining the suitability and specification of products, services, information and advice for its purposes. General-purpose syringes comprise a barrel, a plunger, and a terminal fitting for needles or other attachments. Two-part syringes have an integral barrel and terminal fitting, with a separate plunger. Three-part syringes have a plunger fitted with a separate rubber piston at the end. Plastic general-purpose syringes are made from polypropylene or polyethylene and are often single-use and disposable. Syringes with glass barrels frequently have metal plungers and terminal fittings, so tend to offer better overall chemical resistance and durability.
