Fair Prices

Sorry, um, is that not part of the definition of consumption is it not? I am no economist but yes, the cost/time ratio has shifted with time rendering items requiring service, disposable. Again, not sure what you're getting at by accusing my principles as the issue here. Overall, the movement is a robust and has been used in many Orient’s for many years without much issues, though I kinda feel Orient should upgrade all of their watches with their newer movement.

When I reviewed the Bambino I complained that the strap wasn’t as comfortable as I’d like it to have been. Happily, the Symphony’s strap feels softer and more luxurious. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. Unlike Seiko, Orient seems to be more willing to fork out more money to produce different variations of a single model. This is a very good thing as not all people have the same taste =) At Orient, they believe in letting the quality of their watches speak for themselves. Therefore, unlike many Swiss brands, they spend a limited amount on advertising. Instead, they focus on creating timepieces that match or even surpass, the quality of more expensive watches while keeping the prices reasonable. They accomplish this by using superior materials, employing skilled artisans, and producing their own in-house movements that are highly accurate and dependable. update- i ended up selling it because the case size was too large of a dress/casual watch. Otherwise everything about it was amazing!! Unfortunately, while Orient certainly achieved the classical aesthetic they were going for, the overall look is more on the “ho-hum” side of handsome. The Arabic numerals are too big, taking a face that could have looked discreet and minimal and instead making it look crowded.

Not wanting to leave something unfixed and be a victim of more consumption in this modern age I sought the help of Orient direct. My watch friend advised me that he had a great experience some years ago and I was hoping for the same treatment as a long time customer.
