Now that so many of you have the contents of the Dominion launch box on your hobby desks, it’s time to show off more of the amazing paint jobs we’ve seen from around the world. The hobgrots often seen fighting alongside their Kruleboy Orruk kin look like they’ve just emerged from a mire. Hobgrot Hide is the perfect basecoat for such creatures.

Dominion is Almost At Hand, so Prepare For Sunday Preview – Dominion is Almost At Hand, so Prepare For

The annoying part of these is once again the join lines. Hidden well on the upper shoulder, though the pins once again prevented me from pushing the body flush. However. even then the lower armour plates beneath the shoulder and the parts inside of the head carapace are obviously visible and inaccessible for clean up. That’s 60 of the best models to ever grace a Warhammer Age of Sigmar boxed set, including a centrepiece leader for each side. So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the armies included in Dominion. Really easy to clip off the sprue as all the parts are together. She does have an optional masked and unmasked head. Keep an eye out for more news on both the Stormcast Eternals and Kruleboyz. Both armies are ready to be used on their own straight out of Dominion or mixed into your existing collections, but these models are just the tip of the iceberg. Leap Into The Era of the Beast Knight-Arcanum: Members of the mysterious Valedictor temple, Knights-Arcanum are unknowable but potent mages charged with protecting recovered ancient lore. The model comes supplied with a Citadel 40mm Round Base. The Lord-Relictor , Lord-Veritant , and Knight-Relictor are your 3 flavours of priest. The Lord-Relictor is my personal favourite since he adds 1 to his own chanting rolls and has 2 prayers on his Warscroll that are also situationally useful to either heal D3 wounds to a nearby unit or just blast an enemy unit within 12” for D3 mortal wounds and also makes that unit suffer -1 to hit rolls. The Lord-Veritant is also useful in that he can also unbind 1 spell per enemy Hero phase as if he was a wizard and also has a Warscroll prayer to hit an enemy unit within 12” for D3 mortal wounds. I’m splitting hairs here, but I’m a critic after all, and if this is my biggest complaint, well, that’s a good thing right?

Speaking of sprue layout, I really hope GW decides to rebox some of the bigger sprues into their own Start Collecting boxes. Otherwise, I’m not how models like the new Killaboss or Yndrasta are going to be sold after this box is done. There are some big, chunky sprues that could easily slide into a new Start Collecting! Stormcast or Kruleboyz army. I see you GW and I like what you’re hinting at. The new terrain that Warhammer Community recently shared is scattered throughout the book. My theory is the new terrain will be featured in the starter sets. Even if you’re not interested in actually playing the new edition of Age of Sigmar, the Core Book is an awesome resource to have. It has something for everyone: jaw-dropping artwork and world-class showcases to inspire the painters; reams upon reams of lore for all the narrative-inclined; and, of course, lots of references to D6 and inches to keep gamers making war atop the table. Start Here Booklet – War at Amberstone WatchDominion as a box very much assumes you already have a working knowledge of the Age of Sigmar games. This box is aimed directly at AoS players and it wants to get you excited about Age of Sigmar 3rd Edition. When combined, these boards create a battlefield measuring 44.8″ x 30″ – perfect for 1,000-point games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. You can add a second set to make an even larger battlefield that matches the recommended size for a 2,000-point game. Some people seem to dislike the Kruleboyz. I’m not sure why. They look incredible. The models are some of the most detailed we’ve ever had and they are something new.

Models – Possibly the most Important factor from a practicality standpoint: do you want to spend your time and money on these models? Will you actually want to sit down and complete them, or are you just getting them because some dorks on the internet said they were good? This is something that often stops me from taking the most “optimised” lists because, no, I do not want to sit and paint the same unit 20 times over.

There’s nothing on this model you can paint in sub-assemblies. Parts like the inside of the robes do not look fun. Lord-Imperatant with Gryph-Hound There is nothing hard about this model at all. It’s only 11 parts on the main feature and it goes together so easily. Whilst it takes a bit of firm pushing to get her snug, there are no visible join lines across the entire surface Underneath the lightweight card protector sheet are the sprues. 11 plastic frames of various sizes make up the factions in the set.

Dominion has finally arrived. After being teased as part of the Sunday surprise for WarhammerFest ’21, over the subsequent months; Games Workshop has turned the hype dial up to eleven with introductory videos to the new edition making their debut on YouTube alongside painting guides, as well as flashy images of incredible new figures being bounced around the internet. With Dominion just weeks away, we’re preparing our paint brushes and concocting colour schemes for the armies in the box. Citadel Colour is here to help us capture the dank swampiness of the orruk force. Instead of showing you a model and its optional build, the first five models get their own sections. The next five models use many of the same parts as the last five, so you need to swap to the other sprue. The final five models on each sprue are twins of each other with simple helmeted and non-helmeted head swaps between them.

This is why the start here booklet (War at Amberstone Watch) is a booklet on the lore and the new units. Not a guide on how to build and play.
