Want a pair of wireless earphones that won’t break the bank but will nonetheless satisfy your audio needs? Of course, a real Marshall also requires dynamic music, and the Acton II offers three quite powerful amplifier channels with internal fully active separation: 30 watts for the woofer and two times 15 watts additional for the tweeters are an announcement.

The myriad connectivity options are also impressive, in particular the choice to play music through either the Marshall Multi-Room hub app, or from a phone through Spotify or the native music apps on Apple and Android devices. I tried out the black version and I have to say, it looked really cool wherever I put it in my home. Although Kilburn II still does sound pretty good, Acton II Bluetooth sounds noticeably more satisfying.

mm socket on the top of the Marshall Acton, alongside a button for moving between multi-room and single source modes. Since the sound speakers propagate are in the form of omnidirectional waves, all measurements are obtained in anechoic or semi-anechoic chambers (a super-quiet room where soundwaves don't bounce back, here's how different that room sounds [a mind blowing time-adjusted video]). The high expectations for a dynamic performance were met by the Acton II, which looked quite compact in the living room visited for the test. She keeps a finger on the pulse when it comes to the most exciting and innovative tech and is happy to tell you exactly what she thinks about it too. My point in this post is to prove that the Kilburn II is NOT simply the portable version of the Acton II.

Be warned though: the Marshall Acton makes up for in volume what it lacks in stature, and this can hit some serious volumes. Reviewing the Marshall Acton means talking about how consumer electronics companies are always looking for a brands; and how most brands with any kind of recognition have already been licensed to Chinese gadget-makers (a Porsche laptop or a KFC phone anyone? For living spaces larger than, say, 220 square feet (20 square meters); I'd absolutely recommend the Stanmore II . Although the the Acton II Bluetooth employs DSP (digital signal processing) to, ostensibly, prevent distortion at high volumes, the speaker has trouble with deep bass, even at mid-level volumes. Inside, its two stereo speakers and woofer have the power to deliver high-quality audio - just be prepared to get it by tweaking with the EQ in the app. When you take it out the box, you wouldn’t expect it to be anywhere near as powerful as it actually is.

However, the appearance and detailing of the cabinet excited us even more here, the smallest model in Marshall’s home series really brings the feel of the legendary guitar amps into the living room. Considering that its entire purpose is pleasing the ears, it's the muscles in your hands and arms that provide you with a hint of what’s to come. mm headphone jack, two LED lights which will indicate which mode you are using, either Bluetooth or auxiliary port and three brass knobs that are for controlling volume, bass and treble. The Marshall Stanmore is twice the size of the Marshall Acton 2 so it is best for indoors while the Acton 2 is preferred for both indoor and outdoor. However, it does use digital signal processing (DSP), so the quality doesn’t distort at higher volumes. As with the control knobs, the scope of the app EQ has limited powers, but there’s just enough freedom to boost the mids in balance with a slight pull down on the bass and highs. However, the Kilburn II, which we already tested , is optimized for mobile use with a battery and carrying handle, while the Acton II is a pure home model.

Which brings me to my second beef with the decibel metric: Even when measured correctly, it fails to deliver the REAL aspect to loudness and power. The Marshall Acton certainly looks the part with its combination of brass features with black vinyl. Kilburn is portable whereas the Acton is not, so this comparison doesn't make sense to say the least. With that in mind, Zound's decision to put not just a Marshall logo on the Acton, but also the associated retro styling, makes a lot of sense. Qua trải nghiệm thực tế cho thấy loa cung cấp chất âm mạnh mẽ, cân bằng và đầy đủ tràn ngập âm thanh bất cứ không gian nào.

From the leather-style wrapped outer layer to the tactile physical control knobs, this screams analogue, all the while keeping up with the latest Bluetooth 5. I like how the guitar strap of Kilburn II goes with its (or the entire line-up of Marshall speakers) retro vibe.
