The story contains only six words and three points that determine the time of the action. The whole story is narrated by colorful pictures of frogs flying on their lily pads. Those events involve frogs flying through the town and countryside on lily pads. The illustrations are Wiesner's usual wonderful surrealism. The pallet is rich in blues and greens befitting a night time amphibian adventures. This tale of enchantment and familial devotion is the retelling of a lesser known English fairy tale.
