The story goes that Reilly purposefully wanted his first project to include a moderate budget with few cast members and one set. And so we know it won’t be long before something chaotic when he drops JJ Collins ( Elsa Pataky) on a ship in the middle of the Atlantic, a vessel that houses interceptor missiles, the international safety net designed to take care of business if a nuclear weapon happens to be launched. This is a homecoming of sorts for Collins, who was forced out of service by trolls who came after her when she blew the whistle on the superior who sexually assaulted her. But saying seriously, Interceptor and P5B are sitting very closely on the classic cars market, I think. Both from one period, both have comparable number of survivors on road, both have generally same layout - one called Gentleman Express, other is Gentleman club on the wheels, both attends people of comparable age and social status, so, I think, yes, we can extrapolate some truth regarding P5B, which is valid for Jensen and vice versa. Reilly initially intended to cameo in the film as a customer stampeding out of the Buy-Fi electrical store, but circumstances behind the scenes altered this plan.
