The durability gets 9 points from me and the Sillage 7 points, because the scent projects 1.5 on my skin and 3 hours over one meter on my clothes and lasts / is perceptible on my skin for more than 10 hours and on my clothes almost the whole day until late evening. In my eyes this is worthy of an eau de parfum. Der Duft eröffnet zitrisch-frisch, wobei die als Bergamotte bezeichnete Note ungewöhnlich lange hält. Sie erschien mir etwas anders, nicht ganz typisch. Der Schluss liegt nahe, dass statt des natürlichen Bergamotteöls ein synthetischer Duftstoff verwendet worden sein könnte. Hinter das Zitrische stellt sich eine frische grüne Note, die ich als "gurkig" empfunden habe - eine seltsame Kombination für einen Herrenduft.

Eins vorweg: bei diesem Ableger darf man keinen direkten Flanker des bekannten und beliebten TdH erwarten. Vielmehr ist Terre d´Hermès Intense Vétiver ein eigenständiger Duft, der mit dem Namenspatron nur die zitrisch-frische Richtung gemeinsam hat. Und das mit Power. Denn Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver strahlt siginfikant ab, für ca. 8 Stunden. Dabei empfand ich ihn am besten mit 3-4 Spritzern auf der Brust, was ihm beim Übergehen auf's Shirt die kräftige Sillage und andauernde Haltbarkeit verschafft. Sollte man in diesem Bereich über Haare verfügen, richtet sich jedes einzelne davon auf und auch man selbst nimmt unweigerlich eine kerzengerade Haltung an;) But now it had been bought and given to me as a present - the return period has unfortunately expired - and so I sprayed impartially, but not with the greatest expectations, on the very special (in a positive sense) bottle, but more about that later. The bottle receives 7 points from me! The glass has an intimated "H" shape, also at the bottom. A "metal plate" with integrated sprayer is attached to the top of the glass. On the sprayer is engraved "Hermes", the cap that encloses the sprayer has to be turned to make the sprayer visible and is held in a matching brown tone. Simply a great design. Why do I still deduct three points?

And that's actually how you wish a fragrance to be, isn't it? Already, but for me this direction is just too masculine. I consider it a top fragrance when it should go into a sour, strong cool green woodiness and you are not looking for anything in the direction of barbershop. But although I did not really want to admit it and this vetiver would actually have to fit quite well to me, I could not make friends over the months but so right with him, because he was simply too concise, striking and dominant to me. I clearly do not perceive a real "top note-heart-note-base note composition". The persistent bergamot can perhaps be interpreted as a relatively long top note, but all in all Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver is a very linear scent, a dryout or something similar you "search" in vain. Edit Feb21 : Apparently I am now mature enough for this fragrance, after the morning 12° degree shower for my three-month Ironman training was still the most relaxing exercise.... (o.k. that was a lie;) After approx. 1.5-2 hours the bergamot has completely disappeared, leaving a woody, earthy vetiver, which gets a certain, but by no means biting, sharpness, perhaps also spiciness, from the Szechuan pepper. The price or the price-performance ratio is, I think, generally justified and for an average of 80€/100 ml also affordable for everyone, although it is "too uncomplex" for this price and I would expect a little more, but this is of course in the eye of the beholder.

And with power. Because Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver radiates siginfikant, for about 8 hours. At the same time, I felt him best with 3-4 spritzes on the chest, which provides him with the powerful sillage and persistent durability when going over to the shirt. Should you have hair in this area, every single one of them straightens up and also you inevitably takes a bolt upright posture;)As I left Nordstrom and went shopping around town, I noticed a rose geranium note emerge in Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver's mid-development, and it was joined by rich (but still citrus-y) vetiver. At the end of hour No. 1 of wear, I was still itching for a bottle of Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver. Then — Iso E Super barged into the proceedings. Iso E Super is augmented with vetiver, talc-y citrus and something woody-musky (its own cedar-y reflection?) For those of you wondering, the Hermès PR is accurate; the "mineral"/flint note of original Terre d'Hermès (to me, its most interesting aspect) is missing in Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver. First there was the start with the slightly rotten oranges. A good shot of bergamot has now been added, giving it a bit of grapefruit-like appearance, which is pleasantly bitter and fresh.
