Richard, who has presented the show alongside Alexander Armstrong since 2009, will continue to host future series ofPointless Celebritiesas well as hit BBC Two show,Richard Osman’s House of Games(a Remarkable Entertainment production) for Daytime and Early Peak. It just so happens that the games Sony makes now align with what we want. But that could just as well change with live-service games and suddenly, Sony has a much bigger audience but we aren't a part of that anymore. You thought the corgis were cute? Well, this is cuteness overloaded. A bunch of dogs (pugs included) running all over your screen.

Series 1 aired on BBC Two between August and October 2009 with the corporation announcing on the day of the final episode's broadcast that it had commissioned Series 2. The series' audience had peaked at 1.69 million viewers; 17.2% of audience share for the timeslot, [13] while averaging around 1 million viewers per episode. [8] Series 2 saw audiences grow modestly; the format was tweaked prior to the start of Series 3, reducing the number of rounds and giving more time for banter between the hosts which had previously been edited out. [8] The change saw strong viewer growth and the show was moved to the BBC's main channel BBC One in 2011. [8] [14] By 2013, the programme was recording four episodes in one day [15] and averaged 3.6 million viewers daily, gaining more viewers than ITV game show The Chase, which airs in roughly the same time slot. [14] Linked Categories – Introduced in Series 5, each pass consists of two closely related categories; one team member provides an answer related to the first category while the other provides an answer to the second category. The format follows the same principles as that of the "Open-ended" format, but was rarely used and was later discontinued after the series. The first 27 series were co-presented by Richard Osman, who announced on 8 April 2022 that he would step down from the role to focus more on his writing career. Beginning with series 28, a rotating group of guests took his place. Osman continued to co-present with Armstrong on Pointless Celebrities. [4] Gameplay [ edit ]

I don't care that Bungie could be Sony's 'Multi-platform' publisher or that Playstation bought Bungie for their 'expertise'. It makes Sony 'stronger' as a brand and increases their skill set. Regarding the Bend thing, I believe what happened there was they made a few pitches. Days Gone 2 was denied, but the pitch for the new IP was approved. Regarding Bend and Naughty Dog what I understood was they sent some staff to help with Factions temporarily. The rest was just speculation and rumour (correct me if I'm wrong). this is the sorry state that the gaming industry is striving towards from all the publishers outside of nintendo or the indi space. when that day comes, count me out. thankfully, i have more than enough retro games to keep me busy for the rest of my life, but it will be a sad day when sony pulls out of single player games entirely. Series 16 took breaks on: 21 November–9 December, 15–28 December 2016 and 24 January–23 February 2017.Weekly on Saturday evenings at 5:40. As a PS fan, this really feels like the second time they've changed though. When they changed late PS3 into PS4 into the "moviegame" platform that was already one change I wasn't totally on board with. I like those games, but don't love them the way a lot of the classic PS games pull me in, though in hindsight many of those were "2nd party." So this jump into the mainstream service stuff feels like a continuation of what already started last gen. Whichever platform is the most popular tends to become the one that starts appealing to the mass market in ways gaming enthusiasts reject. Wii did it, 360 did it, and now PS5 is doing it.... It's been pretty consistent that the less popular platform tends to be the one that tries hardest to appeal to the core because they're less likely to be able to appeal to the mass market, so this is really the expected result of PS4's success, to me. It does not stand that collegiate universities have an unfair advantage under the current system of selection. In fact, one could make an opposing case based on the fact that the colleges have a demonstrably smaller pool of students from which to select their team compared to larger universities which don’t operate under the collegiate system.” Caroline Westbrook (23 February 2016).
