I refilled each pod at least 6 times and they’re still going strong. That’s over a week and a half of use with each one and they’re just as good as the first fill. No muting or dulling of the flavor yet and for a Smok product, that’s really saying a lot. Smok Novo's must be some of the worst devices on the market. Far too easy to get the wrong coils for it, and if you do get the correct coil it will probably leak everywhere. Bad battery life Vaping with the Novo 2 has been awesome. The pods take a fill to break in but once they do they’re amazing. I’m particularly impressed by the 1.0ohm pod. The mesh produces accurate and full flavor that is surprising to get from a pod vape. It’s not on the level of an RDA (no pod vape is) but it’s definitely good. The draw is a little looser than I prefer but the quality of vapor makes up for it big time. Had it for months now still works like a charm. Battery life crushes any other true pod setup (less than 25Watts, NOTHING over that should be considered a pod system, hell, nothing over 15W should be).Overall, the NOVO 2’s performance is a solid 7/10, meaning it’s not market-leading like the UWELL Caliburn, but it is a lot better than most. The mouthpiece is also very comfortable for vaping too, which is always a good thing, as so many pod vapes get this wrong.

The NOVO 2 hits on all the points most vapers are looking for when they decide to shop for a pod system. It’s ultraportable, it has a sleek form factor, decent battery life, subtly attractive looks, and is super simple to use. When it comes to specs and features, the SMOK NOVO 2 is a simple vape –it doesn’t have a lot of features. But that’s the deal with pods –they’re designed to be simple. The 0.9 Ohm and 1.0 Ohm mesh options both have a large surface area for greater flavour and a longer lifespan. The 1.4 Ohm Quartz variant delivers a fast ramp up time, whereas the 1.4 Ohm MTL pod delivers a more restricted draw similar to a cigarette. If you’re currently using an older pod system that may be lagging in the performance or battery life departments, switching to SMOK’s decidedly modern NOVO 2 will certainly feel like a significant improvement. You get a different draw from each of the included pods but it’s a small difference. The 1.4ohm pod is a tight mouth-to-lung draw. The 1.0ohm pod is a looser MTL draw. If you like a tighter draw you’ll probably prefer the 1.4ohm pod but if you like a draw that is a little more airy you’ll like how the 1.0ohm pod hits.

If you want huge clouds, sublime flavor, and battery life that lasts a week between charges; there are much, much better (not pod-based) systems for that, but for excellent portability, attractive and unobtrusive aesthetics, reliable and simple operation, and an overall well-balanced pod-based experience, SMOK’s NOVO 2 definitely doesn’t disappoint! I have been vaping over a month now and find that they tend to burn out or can’t taste any flavour. With this pod you can get a good flavour for more than 3 days.
