The rapidly expanding Buffalo Games and London-based indie games company Big Potato are now distributing each other’s products in the UK and US, including Pop It Pets, a brand new set of collectibles for kids. Last year they were the best selling collectible in Target. Regular Pop It Pets are the standard type of Pop It Pet, they vary in size and the amount of the pops depending on the character or object that it is depicting.

Pop It Pets are organized by towns, towns are fictional locations where Pop It Pets live. Each town has a group of themed Pop It Pets, based on the setting of the town. Mega Pop It Pets are special Pop It Pets that were introduced in Season 2. They have yet to release and not much is known about them. The box was redesigned in 2006 with new printed designs, themed with other British design icons such as the Mini and a NatWest Piggy Bank. [4]Best-selling US collectibles Pop it Pets will be heading to the UK this summer under a new international distribution deal with Buffalo Games. Whilst 150 gram sharing sized bags can now be bought, Poppets remain best known for their box. Larger 145 gram boxes are also available. The orange and mint varieties are made of a fondant centre with a dark chocolate covering, while the strawberry fondant and other varieties have a milk chocolate coating. A salted fudge caramel variety was made available in 2021. Big Potato Games says it had been looking for a collectible range for a while and when the team saw Pop It Pets, they knew they’d found something that would be a hit in the UK too. CEO Dean Tempest said: “Pop It Pets have Big Potato written all over them. They are inventive and funny, which is right up our street. But best of all, the inclusion of the bubble-popper is genius – it makes them so ridiculously tactile and stress-relieving. Well done to Buffalo for such a good idea. We’re really chuffed to be able to team up with them to bring Pop It Pets to the UK.”

Poppets (or Paynes Poppets) are a confectionery manufactured by Fox's, first introduced in 1937 by Payne's fine confectionery in Croydon. The Leicester factory was sold in 2020 and production of Poppets was relocated to York. [5] [6] Flavours and formats [ edit ] George Payne & Co. began production in the East End of London, before moving to Croydon Road, Beddington in Surrey in the 1930s. In 1998, it was acquired by Northern Foods. In 2001 the closure of the Croydon Road factory was announced, as part of a deal by Northern Foods to take over the Fox's factory in Leicester from Nestlé and relocate production of Poppets there. [3]
