I loved the premise and structure for Bad Sister, alternating timelines always appeal to me and multiple narrators that are done well are fun and Carrington nailed both aspects. The same goes for good neighbour Roger Muldoon (Michael Smiley), Bibi’s wife, Nora Garvey (Yasmine Akram), Ursula’s husband, Donal Flynn (Jonjo O’Neill), Grace’s daughter Blánaid Williams (Saise Quinn), the Claffin brothers. The themes of family and sisterhood are evident throughout the series and give the film a semblance of reality.

It has short snappy chapters,loads of twists,well developed,believable characters,and a breath taking,shocking ending. Even by the end of the book I wasn't sure which one was the main story and this lack of focus on a single plot made the book somewhat chaotic. Bad Sister by Sam Carrington is a psychological thriller that was much like reading a couple of stories at once and trying to piece those together to get the overall plot.I was a middle child, and while I dont' think my brothers ever cared if I got hurt or not, I certainly cared if I injured my younger sister. And, if you’re anything like me, you’re rooting to see the murder in the past scenes even if you already know it happened.
