Alert lights and safety sounds: The safety function alerts the user as to whether or not the seat is clipped into the ISOFIX fixing points correctly. This pricey 2.1 speaker system includes two futuristically designed satellites, a beefy downward-firing subwoofer and a control hub that allows you to select from the impressive range of input sources on offer. Bluetooth, optical, analogue and USB can all be connected simultaneously and switched between at the simple press of a button. The sound quality is excellent, with plenty of detail and a massive amount of bass if you turn the subwoofer up to 11. The S351DB is perhaps more at home with music and video sources than gaming because the system is tuned for warmth and balance rather than staccato detail but that subwoofer certainly gives gaming sound effects some serious impact. The Pebble Plus also works decently well with movies. Watching the thriller “Get out”, These speakers were not able to deliver the same level of immersive experience produced by my SONOS Playbase and Harman Kardon Aura Studio, but still kept me engaged by offering relatively accurate positioning, and decent sub-bass presence. But with movies such as “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, which contain lots of intense battle scenes and thus require a lot more soundstage, separation and treble boost than usual, the Pebble Plus simply sounds too crowded and cannot deliver the listening experience the sound mixing in those movies deserves.

The sheer size of the Nommo Pro makes it a poor choice for those short on desk space but if you have the room to accommodate it, it’s a powerful and versatile system that will enhance your audio experience whether you’re gaming, watching a movie or simply listening to some tunes. Pairing the speakers to your phone, tablet or smartphone couldn’t be easier. Press the small Bluetooth button on the right satellite and the speakers will immediately enter pairing mode. Unsurprisingly, given the V3’s price, there’s no support for advanced Bluetooth codecs so you’ll be making do with basic SBC. The Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus is an infant car seat that is designed to provide a safe and comfortable ride for babies. This car seat has a mounting type of ISOFIX, which ensures that it is securely fastened to the vehicle's seat. Additionally, the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus has a removable cover, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance. Despite the “decorative and non-operational” (to quote Logitech) tweeters, the system produces a nicely balanced and detailed sound that should suit most circumstances. The subwoofer emits a really meaty thump, too, when turned up. The total RMS power output is quoted at 2 x 8W and 1 x 24W with a peak system power of 80W, which means there is more than enough volume to fill your average home office or bedroom. Since I didn't have the adapter, I can't say whether or not it makes a big difference, but I can say it's not necessary at all. Creative Pebble Plus pumps out very high-quality audio for the price, thanks to deep bass and rich higher elements of the sound. The speakers are respectful to whatever you're listening to, producing room-filling audio that elevates the subtler nuances of a song even at a higher volume.Bose is possibly one of the most divisive audio brands there is. Some people swear by the quality of its kit and will regale you with tales of the ‘Bose sound’ while others will say it’s a triumph of marketing over sound quality.

If you’re not too sure what to look for when buying a pair of the best PC speakers, our comprehensive buying guide details all the things you need to consider before parting with your hard-earned cash. Another reviewer said: "Great seat, unfortunately, doesn't fit the family fix base which wasn't easy to see, for family fix base you need a pebble, not a pebble plus." Price The seat can be installed using a three-point seatbelt or Isofix points. Unfortunately, the Isofix base is sold separately, effectively doubling the price of the car seat. For better protection in the event of a side impact collision, the side wings of the Pebble Plus have an impact-absorbing material inside. Just looking at the various safety testings that the Pebble Plus has passed gives you peace of mind that you have one of the safest infant carriers around. These include a 5-star ‘very good' rating in the "safety" category of the independent testers ADAC/TCS/ÖAMTC in October 2015. Day to day use

Maxi-Cosi is a well-known brand in the car seat market and has a good reputation for thoroughly testing its own products. The Pebble Plus carries the orange ECE R44 approved label which means it complies with European safety standards (UN R129), as all car seats should. The three-point harness is sturdy and easy to use. The seat is made with impact-absorbing material designed for added protection in the event of side impact collision. Yes, the Maxi-Cosi is compatible with a wide range of pushchairs including: Quinny, iCandy, Uppababy, and Bugaboo. Unfortunately, you'll have to shell out for the car seat adaptors, which are usually sold separately. How comfortable is this car seat?

The killer feature here is that you can listen to all three analogue inputs and Bluetooth input simultaneously. That means you can stream music wirelessly while still hearing notifications and receiving voice or video calls from your other devices – and that’s genuinely handy. One major benefit of the Pebble Plus is how easy it is to install. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow when using a seat belt or the Isofix base.

So, if you're happy to make the initial investment, you could use the Isofix base for up to four years. What's in the box? This includes standardised crash testing for frontal collisions at 50km/h (30mph). In addition, Maxi-Cosi carry out its own frontal crash safety tests at 70km/h (40mph) and a variety of other side and frontal collision tests. Speakers are fed content from a variety of sources, including but not limited to films and shows on services such as Netflix and Prime Video, playlists on Spotify and YouTube videos. If high-resolution or Dolby Atmos audio are supported, we ensure that the test material we’re using meets the relevant standards. Performance is tested at multiple volume levels to evaluate consistency in frequency spectrum reproduction and we make sure to push speakers to the limits to note any distortion that might occur at higher volumes. The Katana SE is a single-unit soundbar that uses two up-firing mid-bass drivers in place of a discrete subwoofer. It loses out on a bit of low-end oomph compared to its stablemates the Katana V2 and V2X as a result, but the upside is that you don’t have to find room for a chunky sub. Mother&Baby Tester, Eleanor, said:"I’d definitely recommend the Pebble Plus to fellow mums. The seat comes with a great, comfy insert for a newborn, giving you the reassurance that they are nice and snug and safe. The cushion also looks like it would give great head support compared to other car seats." Final thoughts

Tape measure included: Measure was included to help you determine whether your child fits the car seats' measurements. At Mother & Baby, we were assisted with help from our Mother & Baby Testers to review the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus & 2wayfix base. During the testing process, we were testing for its overall performance, usability and build. Here's what our testers had to say about the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus. Connection options aren’t the most extensive, but Bluetooth provides a welcome wireless option if you’re not hooking the bar up to your PC using the included USB-C to USB-A cable or simply want to use the Leviathan V2 to stream music from your phone. Speaking of your phone, the Razer Audio mobile app allows you to select from Music, Game, Movie and Flat EQs, or create your own using a ten-band graphic equaliser. You can also customise the Chroma lighting effect on the bottom of the bar, and similar options can also be found in the Razer Synapse software for PC.The higher price tag when you are purchasing the Pebble Plus with the 2wayFix Base may put some people off, but you can then use the same base with the 2wayPearl car seat, enabling you to rear face right up to four years old. If you want a beefier low-end, the Pebble Plus are available for a similar price and include a separate subwoofer, although you’ll have to forgo Bluetooth. We wouldn’t be surprised if Creative’s next pair of Pebble speakers come with both Bluetooth and a discrete sub but for the time being you have to choose between one or the other. JBL’s One Series 104 were impressive desktop speakers, but the new model adds Bluetooth to the mix. The result is great-sounding speakers that are perfectly suited to both work and play. The external power requirement ensures that no sound quality is lost while bumping the output, but unless you like things LOUD or have a larger room you want to fill with sound, the normal mode is going to be absolutely fine. Even then, you're able to get some pretty serious volume without any loss in clarity. In a smaller office like mine, they're perfectly capable of delivering face-melting metal at volume. Compared to AC powered 2.1 systems, the Creative Pebble Plus pales in terms of volume output. With that said, even at medium volume, these speakers are already able to fill up my small bedroom with sound. When compared side by side with the built-in Bang & Olufsen speakers of the HP EliteBook, the Pebble Plus sounds much louder. Also, the quality offered here is extremely impressive, as these speakers sound well-balanced, clear and full of life.
