Avery was listed as the Toy Book 2021 Doll of the Year Finalist. Along with all of the other Series 1 dolls. Ainsley makes an awkward entrance at the beginning of the episode with her friends, later being seen reacting to all of Shadow High's pranks. Unlike the other students however, she suspiciously did not seem particularly upset or offended by this. While not physically appearing, she has an important role in the episode. It is revealed that she is now becoming a fashion focus, also revealed that she has been keeping her designs a secret to most of her friends, including her best friend, Avery. Presenting her Radiant Week project, it is revealed that she also worked with Holly and Laurel, who were not impressed with her, Avery, and Skyler's work.

Though she does not add much within the episode, she appears with her team and contributes to the dress.In the very first episode of the animated series, " When the GLAM Hits The Fan", Avery can be seen in an exclusive wig that does not come with her set, being made entirely of tinsel and with no bangs. In all of her other appearances, she is seen with her regular purple hair as she wears on her doll, but still, her former wing can still be seen in her Fashion Studio. She originally had tan skin similar to Skyler Bradshaw, but it was changed into a darker skin tone. Avery and Ainsley were once best friends, had problems and conflicts after the events of the episode The Eclipse - Phase Two, Avery is very shaken to learn that Ainsley would leave Rainbow High without even warning. Their relationship was quite troubled and they were teasing each other until they finally understood in " Rainbow Vision Finale Part 2", in which Avery and Aidan give Ainsley a medallion symbolizing their friendship, which would continue even in different schools. Avery and Ainsley are currently on good terms. She and the rest of The A's are sitting in the auditorium as part of the audience watching the runway show, with Ainsley cheering for the girls along with the other students.

October 2nd, 2020: Avery makes her second animated appearance with speaking lines in When the GLAM Hits The Fan. The third problem with this dress is that it's so tight through the legs that Jett can barely move when she's wearing it. It was hard to get her to balance because I could't shift the position of her legs much at all. I also don't like the bangs in Rainbow High dolls,they have such a wide head that makes the bangs lay weird ( like on Violet). But I do like bangs on some dolls like Monster High ( Cleo and sometimes Frankie). Jett makes a silent appearance in the episode watching from the audience, being shown to be very impressed by the main girls' fashion designs.

Jett is briefly mentioned by Karma to Colin, who gushes about how she just flew in from Japan, with them both being interested. She frequently lends out her custom designs to her fellow students on the condition that they're returned in pristine condition. She's mentioned during the episode, with Holly and Laurel telling the audience that Ainsley and Avery are fighting. Finally presenting their Radiant Week project, Jett works with her group to teach all about fabric, even revealing she sourced special fabric. She used this fabric to resemble a spiderweb, with Robin even hanging from it for the presentation. Her Junior High doll features her with textured curly hair, implying that her natural hair is curly. Now, I would actually prefer that : sometimes, a doll being the same color but different shades can be overbearing. I love my Poppy doll, but there is way too much orange ; I would've liked maybe a little green or a different butterfly design for the hair clips. Kia Hart and Jett Dawson are the only dolls (i believe) that don't have the single color margins. This may be due to them being special edition dolls, but I still would love to see a variety of colors on a doll that isn't 30-60 dollars. Krystal, more often spelt as Crystal, is a Greek oriented name that comes from the Greek word for ice, that being "krystallos", a reference to her somewhat iridescent color scheme. Ainsley makes multiple appearances throughout the episode, mostly being seen working with her team. Now being in the final four, she is paired up Shanelle to design an outfit for Blu inspired by Rainbow High. Both girls get to work and do well until it comes to designing, with Shanelle wanting a ball gown and Ainsley wanting a pantsuit. They try to combine these ideas with little success, with Maria and the other judges thinking their prototype was messy and awkward.
