I think one things that's hard to truly capture is the body scale/proportions of the DDs in comparison to EAH or MH - it's a lot more realistic and really just very solid (I wonder if someone will color match a Skipper to one of the girls) and the quality is simply tops. I think that the pink earrings and pink bow of the dress' collar are supposed to coordinate with the red in Jane's hair. I also think Audrey has the least interesting color of hair--nothing as fun as Mal's purple streaks or Jane's mix of red highlights.

Zippers are such a critical element of Mal's signature outfit in the movie, I can't help but wish that the doll's jacket had a more believable zipper substitute. Jane's body shape and articulation are the same as Mal's, but I had a really hard time getting Jane's knees to bend for the first time. The Fairy Tale High dolls essentially have Winx Club bodies, which are significantly skinnier than Mal.I'm still excited about the great articulation in these dolls, although Jane's ultra-stiff knee joints gave me pause.
