Description

The solution is recommended to be used only at night due to it being an acid-based product. As previously mentioned, I use this on body several times a week. Sometimes I use it after using the First Aid Beauty KP Eraser. Before this year I had no idea what keratosis pilaris (KP) was. But after a little research into the skin changes I was experiencing I found that the dark spots I’d recently developed on my legs were KP. The colloquial name for these spots is strawberry legs. Though the name strawberry legs is limited to those only affected by KP on the legs, KP can be found on other parts of the body. What is Keratosis Pilaris/ KP? Glycolic & Lactic Acids: Alpha hydroxy acids that exfoliate skin and help it appear brighter and improve texture.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains Glycolic and Lactic Acids that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. IngredientsThis fast-acting KP body scrub gives you the benefits of a chemical peel and micro-dermabrasion treatment in one. Glycolic and Lactic Acids at a combined level of 10% help loosen skin’s top layer and decongest pores with Pumice Buffing Beads that whisk it all away. For moisture, I pair my Vaseline lotion with rosehip seed oil on busy days outside the house. If I’m spending the day at home I’ll use shea butter and rosehip seed oil on my damp skin. Ingredients: Water, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Stearyl Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-2 Stearate, Glycerin, Olus Oil (Vegetable Oil), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Caprylyl Caprylate/Caprate, Propanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Betaine, Microcitrus Australasica Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Panthenol, Tocopherol, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Bisabolol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Limonene. If smoother skin is what you’re looking even if you don’t have KP this body scrub will help you achieve it. A: No, this body scrub is formulated for use on the body and is not intended for facial use. The skin on the face is more delicate and sensitive, so it's best to choose products specifically formulated for facial exfoliation.

Before I found the KP bump eraser I was using a sugar body scrub. It was good but here’s why the KP bump eraser is better: 1. Great ingredients

What are the key ingredients of the FIRST AID BEAUTY KP Bump Eraser?

A: Yes, after using First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub, you can follow up with your usual body care routine. Applying a moisturizer or body lotion can help soothe and hydrate the skin after exfoliation. Upon learning what KP was, my next question was “how can I get rid of it?’ And that’s why you’re reading this post now. Strawberry legs are not the most attractive thing to look and moreover, they certainly don’t feel great either. Research states that KP tends to improve with age but I don’t want to wait and neither do you. How do I treat KP? Ingredients: Pumice, Water, Glycolic Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Lactic Acid, Dimethicone, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Palmitic Acid, Glycerin, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Sorbitol, Colloidal Oatmeal, Tocopherol, Chrysanthemum Parthenium (Feverfew) Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Bisabolol, Hydrogenated Coconut Acid, Xanthan Gum, Steareth-20, Steareth-21, Myristic Acid, Sodium Isethionate, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, EDTA. While the pumice beads do that, the glycolic and lactic acid chemically exfoliate the skin by deeply penetrating the skin to fade dark marks, improve dullness and the skin’s natural moisture factor. 2. Softer skin

During the middle of the week when I’m not using the KP Eraser, I like to use a gentler body exfoliator scrub. I don’t have a go to product, I pretty much just use what’s in my shower. This is a step that I only do once a week. According to Cedars Sinai, “Keratosis pilaris (KP) is a common long-term (chronic) skin condition. It causes small, scaly bumps on the skin where there are hair follicles. The bumps are extra keratin.” It leaves the skin incredibly soft. After my first use, my skin was notably softer, buttery smooth even. It felt like I had finally done my shower routine right. Every use since the first time has given me this same buttery smooth result. It was only after having this same experience over and over that I realized just how rough and bumpy KP made my skin feel before. First Aid Beauty KP Bump eraser’s first ingredient is pumice. These tiny pumice beads are amazing at smoothing rough skin. Whoever thought of that is pure genius! The pumice beads are the physical exfoliants that manually sloughs off the top layer of skin to reveal fresher, smoother skin. This fast-acting body scrub uses Glycolic & Lactic acids, at a combined level of 10% AHAs, to help resurface skin’s top layer + Pumice to physically exfoliate. The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (right in the image above) is known for being great to use from head to toe. The cream is light weight but yet still very moisturizing. Many people love using this cream on their face, but I prefer to use it on my body. The Ultra Repair Cream is formulated with great ingredients like squalene, Colloidal Oatmeal, Shea Butter and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, which are all known to be nourishing to the skin. This has been a great cream to apply after using the glycolic solution as I feel that it helps to keep skin moisturized longer. All in all, the First Aid Beauty KP bump eraser is a product I’d highly recommend and I can’t wait to see what my results will be in another month or two. I only bought the mini size so I’ll be purchasing another soon. Why It's Worth It: It's not just exfoliating lotions and scrubs that help smooth the look and feel of keratosis pilaris — the best body wash for keratosis pilaris can make a difference, too. "I really like the two-step approach in the KP Kit by Glytone that pairs a glycolic acid-based body cleanser and body lotion with vitamin E for extra hydration," Dr. Prather says.
