Our results indicated that the improvement of lodging resistance in Japanese temperate japonica rice cultivars had been carried out by shortening plant height only, and the culm strength had not been improved (Fig. 3). However, the lodging resistance of “Koshihikari”, which is the leading cultivar in Japan, is low because it has long culms 23. Without such features, the dinosaur seems almost unrecognisable, whether compared with the creature presented during Jurassic World: Dominion, or proposed life restorations of the actual dinosaur. From the rear, you can really see the problem with the coloration. There’s some effort to disguise the joins with some dark green prints on both the tail and head, but it wasn’t quite enough. Combined with the green skin tone, I’m reminded of Frankenstein’s monster – something stitched together from body parts that were close…but obviously not from the same original creature. Who knows?
