When the two girls meet in unlikely circumstances, they are surprised to find in each other something they've been missing all their lives. I learned a lot about the extreme and scary cases of postpartum in psychology of crime, so I always find it a neat yet scary topic. These Girls are missing something and they did not know it until they met in the middle of the night one day…. Destiny is marked second to last place, because she's new and isn't part of any of the local gangs, the Flat boys and the Speedos.

The book explores two sides of the spectrum; working class and the rich and famous upper class but in an interesting way pushes the two together. Big thanks to Harper Collins Publishers, HQ Publishers and Melanie Golding, for inviting me to be a part of this incredible journey and share my thought on Little Darlin Little Darlings is her first novel, and has been optioned for screen by Free Range Films, the team behind the adaptation of My Cousin Rachel .Influenced perhaps too much by tales of elves and changelings, Lauren slowly becomes convinced that someone – or something – is trying to replace her babies with their own. So receiving this book for Christmas I had low expectations for Little Darlings, but it managed to surprise me and grab me. The letters between Sunset and Destiny were a fun way of having them interact and I enjoyed seeing how their friendship developed.

Little Darlings is the first book Ms Golding has had published and as such is certainly the heralding of a major player in the literary world. I’m not usually a fan of stories that blur the line between supernatural and psychotic – is there really something otherworldly going on, or is the main character just crazy? Little Darlings is a book that everyone can relate to and the descriptions used by Wilson help to create a cognitive visual of the story.

Particularly during the last third I skimmed through a lot of text, eager to know what it was all about and get a solution.
