The whirlpool waves on the bottle signify the waves of our seas that surround the Isle of Skye.​ The label shows the mountain name, height and contour lines, just like a map. The base of a bottle shows an outline of the Isle of Skye. And the stoppers feature a copper medal in reference to the distillery's hand made copper stills. Misty Isle Gin from the Isle of Skye Distillery is created by two brothers, Thomas and Alistair Wilson. In creating Misty Isle gin, they took inspiration from the local landscape, the Old man of Storr, and the Cullin mountain range in particular. With lots of dedication, burning the midnight oil, weeks foraging local juniper berries -often in the rain- they finally launched Misty Isle gin in early February 2017.
