I love how the story was about an older man and a younger professional who defied the odds of falling in love. I love how mature they acted together, although when there were some bumps in the road, one of them freaked out. It was ominous and exasperating when you think about it, being burdened with decisions on what would be best for the two of them, but I guess that's how reality really was. I love how the characters dealt with the circumstances, admitted their shortcomings and learned how to forgive and move forward. I have enjoyed writing my new show, George Carlin Saved My Life, as I have to find humour in tragedy. It's about me searching for my mother and going to southern California. Things didn't go well, and on the way to receive some bad news, I got mugged for some digestive biscuits I'd bought as a gift en route. On hearing the bad news I couldn't stop thinking about the biscuits.

My Father's Best Friend grabbed hold of my head and heart. A story that felt right and was begging to be told, I am so glad I got the chance to read it! You see, Mr. Potter was her best friend, Lily’s dad. Language: English Words: 2,764 Chapters: 1/1 Kudos: 106 Bookmarks: 32 Hits: 11,407Bonnie was suspicious when her father pushed her to apply for the job as a maid, but she never suspected her new boss was her dad’s ex-best friend or that she would not be able to return home, once she entered the boss’ house. When Blake made the agreement with Bonnie’s dad, he never thought his best friend’s daughter would end up being his soulmate or that she would be the reason for him to change his grumpy behaviour. An amazing read with steamy sensual scenes, heartache, heartbreak, tears, some hilarious scenes, lust/love, getting priorities straight, and a twist with Lanie’s dad. The story flowed beautifully and I could have kept reading about these two, wishing there was more of them and their HEA. I walked past a movie room, arcade, eating place,& so much other things. I didn't have all of these things, but I had some of them. I made my way to the hallway that had rooms. Little does John know that his daughter has had a big crush on Conner since she was about 15 years old. Additionally, nobody is aware that Conner is now totally infatuated by the now-20 year-old Marie. She‘s all grown up and beautiful. His alpha tendencies have his mind and body responding to her like a man obsessed. Whilst he values his friendship with John and Kath, he’s determined to make Marie his, in every way. My mom shot me a nervous smile. She knows I've always wanted a cute gigantic house, now here it is.

There’s lots of secrets that are slowly revealed and the story is incredibly captivating. I literally couldn’t put it down and it’s now after midnight that I’m writing this review 🤣His new family is visiting relatives in Hawaii,so none should be around. And we should be there soon." New guidance counselor Lanie Jacobs had doubts about her new job in high school. Her first assignment, Raven Marx seemed to be the spoiled rich brat everyone's been thinking about. But she knew there's more about the girl than she was letting on. And when she met Raven's father, she knew her life wouldn't be he same again.

I've been told that it is a withering portrait of narcissistic self-deception by a man who so thoroughly believes his own lies that his impending existentialist crisis, brought on by post-recession financial devastation and ever diminishing youth, will only force him further down the path of increasingly aggressive assertion of his self worth. But you could say that kind of thing about any song. Clint is a broken man with strict principles and demons that cause him nightmares. His pride won't allow him to tell Mindy the truth behind his brokenness. Recently I wrote a song about men like Wayne. Men who love most of their kids. Men who summer in Thailand, but they're not like all the other johns. Men who don't give blood. Because they won't give blood. The song is called Dad's Best Friend because most people have dads, and lots of dads have friends, and some of them are like that. I'm not saying that most men watch hardcore porn in the shed while their wives put the children to bed, but we all know one who definitely does. Blake used to be a best friend to her parents but Bonnie's mother's death drove them apart. Now learning that his old best friend is in financial trouble, he offers a maid job to Bonnie. When Bonnie comes to the interview, he knows with one glance that she is meant to be his. He refuses to let her go. However she won't let him close unless he tells the truth of his relationship to her father. Blake knows that her dad has been lying to her about her mother's death but he is uncomfortable about revealing her father's lie. The lie is keeping them apart. This is a classic Flora Ferrari story of on older man/younger woman, best friend's daughter/father's best friend romance with some drama in the form of a stalker and a whole lot of romance, OTT insta-love and a claiming. This is another fast-paced, fun, witty and hot story and great addition to the series.I have to admit, this is the first time I have encountered a Ferrari book in such a state of disarray. There are so many typos in this book I wondered allowed several times whether or not an old, unedited draft was printed by mistake. There are well over a dozen places in the story that are just wrong and need correction. So many in fact, that it made it tedious to read and annihilated the sexy, sassy story underneath. Once again, Ms. Sofia has outdone herself with her wonderful writing ability. I loved this book and look forward to the next. This book is about Marie and Conner. She has returned home from college, and her parents John and Kath are going on an Alaskan cruise. Marie admits to her Dad that she thinks she may have a stalker, and he worries about her being home alone for three weeks while he and his wife are away. SO he asks his college best friend Conner to stay with Marie to keep an eye on her. I once told my dad that his best friend Wayne Fogarty tried to spice up a family christening by murdering a badger with a fence post in front of a load of kids. It wasn't true, but my father believed it without question, because that's exactly the kind of thing that Wayne might do. We all know him, or bits of him, and I think that's why I wrote the song. What's weird is, people tell me they can identify someone exactly like that. I'm not sure they can though. I suspect they only see glimpses of someone they recognise. The odds of them actually knowing someone who would rather fry an egg on a Travelodge iron than have dinner with his wife and her son are probably slim. This hasn't stopped people commenting on my song.
