Description

The fearsome Eternus, Blade of the First Prince, leads a mighty army in the name of his Dark Master. This powerful warhorde includes five battle-hardened Chaos Knights, 10 Chaos Warriors, three hulking Ogroid Theridons, and a retinue of five Chaos Chosen blessed by the Ruinous Powers.** Primordial Starhost The minimum squad size for Beast Snagga Boyz is 10, so you can even split these into two separate units. The box is absolutely stuffed with Orks and ravenous squigs – not only do you get 26 new Ork miniatures, the set comes with an exclusive version of the new Ork codex with bespoke Beast Snagga artwork, a set of Ork datacards, and a transfer sheet.

After a decade of tinkering, the Speed Freakz unleashed fresh designs in 2018, with six eclectic new buggies including James Workshop’s personal favourite , the Boomdakka Snazzwagon. And last, but not least, the Orkz will also stomp their way into the lineup of Christmas boxes. This year, the theme of Beast Snaggas continue – hence the name of the Battleforce – with Mozrog Skragbad leading his best Boyz into battle. This is character is making a return after 20 years! He is a master of Grots everywhere and will have a special rule to upgrade one unit of them at the beginning of the game. This will give them better shooting and make them hit harder in CC. If you love Gretchin, this guy is a must-have. This box has a lot of leftovers (sort of) from the Leviathan box, but if you want a Norn Emissary and a Winged Hive Tyrant, this will probably save you a bunch of money.

Bury your foes in a relentless tide of claws with the Onslaught Swarm, one of the most terrifying assemblages of Tyranid monstrosities ever stuffed into a box. A massive Norn Emissary joins up with a Winged Hive Tyrant – which can also be built as a ground bound Hive Tyrant or Swarmlord – to lead a tide of 20 leaping, scything Hormagaunts and 10 ravening Genestealers, with a pair of Ripper Swarms to boot. The codex includes full rules for all the new Sisters of Battle units, as well as updates for its existing range of models and wargear. There’s an extended Crusade rules section, plenty of point tweaks, and new rules for using prayers and hymns. The whole book is designed to provide much wider strategic variety among Adepta Sororitas armies, which has been found wanting in recent years. GW revealed the boxes and their contents, so now it’s time to decide if they will be worth buying or if you will be passing. We also know all the pricing for these, so it’s easy to see the actual confirmed value in each of these boxes! Gorkanauts and Morkanauts have meanwhile bulked up, moving from 18 Wounds to a much more appropriate 24, while their Klaw of Gork (or possibly Mork) now does a full 6 Damage in close combat rather than D6. But all these improvements have pushed them up a weight category, and they’ve both now become Lords of War instead of Heavy Support. Ride down your foes and reap a bountiful tithe of bone with the Praetorian Spearhead, commanded by Arch-Kavalos Zandtos and his bodyguard of five Kavalos Deathriders. Four elite Morghast constructs swoop from the skies, while a Gothizzar Harvester reanimates the fallen and reinforces the 20 Mortek Guard who march unrelentingly across the battlefield.** This box will come with every new mini for the Orks minus the new Warboss. Almost more importantly, it will give early access to the codex! Beast Snagga Army Box

In addition to all these models that are perfect for starting a Beast Waaagh! of your own, the new army box offers a chance to get your hands on the full Ork codex early. The standalone book’s release is arriving a short time later – you know when the vanguard approaches, the rest of the Waaagh! isn’t far behind. As snow begins to fall and friends gather to exchange gifts, who better to loot an enticing bounty of presents than the Beast Snaggas? These green-hued big game hunters are ready to scrap, led by legendary everything-killer Mozrog Skragbad – who can be built as a standard Beastboss on Squigosaur, if you prefer – at the head of three Squighog Boyz and a Nob on Smasha Squig. They’re joined by a Painboss medic and a mob of 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, who mount up in a psyker-strapped Kill Rig – which can alternatively be built as a Hunta Rig and a psychic Wurrboy on foot – to keep up with the cavalry for a jolly old winter punch-up. Cadian Defence Force While one of the main factions of 40k’s 10 th Edition are the Space Marines, they couldn’t be the heroes of the story without the Tyranids, specifically Hive Fleet Leviathan. The Hive Mind sent some reinforcements so that the Tyranids can stay on the offensive after winning the Battle for Oghram with a new Battleforce – including the new Big Boi™ of the Nids. The Astra Militarum got a box true to the phrase “Cadia stands!”, as the Cadian Defence Force brings some serious firepower alongside the heroes of the Imperium. The box contains two squads of foot soldiers, two tanks and a command squad to guide them through the storm of battle. That alone would be worth a letter to Santa, but how much can you save on the Defence Force? You can also prepare for the new year with a 2024 Calendar filled with incredible artwork, that comes with an extra poster featuring art from the cover of Codex: Leagues of Votann .The 9th Edition DeathwatchCodex Supplement was released, along with the Space Wolves, onOctober 31, 2020. The most notablechange made to the factionin this rulebook was to fully integrate the Sisters of Silence (the Imperium’s all-female arm of psyker hunters) into the army proper, where they had previously operated as an add-on rather than a full force. Besides that, the Custodes got extensively updated subfaction rules for the different Shieldhosts, and new, switchable ‘martial ka’tah’ buffs – as well as theusual bundle of new Stratagems, Relics, and Warlord Traits. We’ve seen a couple of Army boxes like this before, such as the Sisters of Battle, where you get the codex early, accessories, and a ton of the new minis. Originally they said you would get all the new Beast Snagga minis, but there have been more revealed, so we’re happy about that! Like the others, it’s full of army-specific datasheets, rules, and bespoke Crusade content for the Death Guard, the vile, disgustingly resilient sons of the dread Daemon Primarch Mortarion. This puts the Exalted of the Red Angel Battleforce to 815 points, which is incredible value for any player looking to start their path to the Skull Throne. With the box including the Red Angel himself, it’s great if you want to get a centrepiece model for your World Eater if – for some reason – you didn’t have Angron already! Leagues of Votann – Defenders of the Ancestors

The new minis definitely look sweet and will add a ton of flavor to any Ork army! They didn’t release much in the way of rules other than that they are stronger than regular Orks and will have bionic upgrades.
