You can use beans specifically roasted for making espresso, or any variety of dark roast coffee beans, which will give you that same rich flavor. What’s more important than the variety of coffee beans is the way they're ground - an espresso grind has a finer texture than what you’d use for other brewing methods. Because of the added vanilla syrup, a caramel macchiato tastes a lot sweeter than this caramel latte. On the other hand, the caramel latte uses whipped cream on top, which the macchiato doesn’t use. Gently heat any liquids prior to adding them to caramel — if they’re cold when added to the hot mixture, they may splatter.

An iced caramel latte contains more milk than an iced caramel coffee, with the milk typically being whole milk, coconut milk, or another alternative as preferred by the individual. On the other hand, an espresso shot makes up the base for an iced latte, while an iced caramel coffee uses a regular coffee base, often brewed via a French press or other brewing methods. Stovetop Espresso: make espresso on the stovetop using a Moka pot, which is a classic Italian method for brewing strong coffee. You’ll need three simple ingredients:espresso (or strong coffee), milk of choice, and caramel syrup. First: Caramel Syrup Stir it all together and you're good to go! It's THAT simple. But don't be fooled - it's one of the best iced coffee recipes you could possibly make! Make it your own This iced latte recipe is one of my favorites to make in the summertime. By making a big batch of caramel sauce once, you can use it to make these iced coffees for the coming days in just a few minutes. Use half vanilla syrup and half caramel (we would call this our dulce de leche at the coffee shop I used to work at). Heavy cream - I LOVE the addition of heavy cream in this recipe. You only need a splash of it! It gives it a bit of extra creaminess and rounds out the flavors in a way that milk alone doesn't. If all you have on hand is half-n-half or regular/light whipping cream, go ahead and use it though. OR, try your favorite dairy-free alternative, like coconut cream!

BB4 dates are usually 3-8 months on this product and as BB4 Dates are only a manufacturer's estimated approx guide as to when they deem the quality of the sweets/product to be still at its very best, in most cases if stored correctly they will keep/taste great several months after the product best before dates. Flavored syrups: Incorporating different flavored syrups, such as hazelnut or vanilla, can add a new dimension to your iced caramel beverage. Experimenting with various flavors can lead to discovering your perfect combination. Combine coffee, caramel sauce, milk, sweetener (optional), and vanilla syrup (optional) in a pitcher or large glass mixing cup. Cold coffee - I typically use brewed coffee that's been chilled in the refrigerator, but you can also use store-bought or homemade cold brew if you want to be a little fancier about it. If you own a Chemex, you can even try brewing flash-chilled (Japanese-Style) iced coffee! Carol’s Caramel Corn : This recipe starts with a caramel made from molasses and brown sugar for additional bitter and toffee flavor notes; there’s also corn syrup, which helps ensure a smooth, velvety texture. The caramel is drizzled over popcorn for a nostalgic ballpark treat.
