Although the headphones isolate what you hear from outside noises, it’s a passive model that shields your ears with two large pairs of round foam cushions. Active models are way more expensive, using a microphone that inverts the outside noises and adds them to what you hear (like the Bose QC series). The Xiberia V20 is not one of those. For the microphone, I wish the output levels were a little higher. Having said that, the sound quality you can capture is good enough for most situations. Again, a dedicated desktop mic like the Blue Yeti is far superior, but it’s an expense that’s often overkill if you’re getting started. Besides, it’s not very portable. Compared to those microphones that are integrated in web cams or computers however, this device has the upper hand: you’ve got it right in front of your mouth, so your voice will sound more present with less room noise, which is an immediate improvement. In this case, you can unplug your USB headset first, and reboot your Windows 10. Then plug your USB headset when Windows 10 starts. Plus, it's really comfortable to wear, which is always a bonus. I personally find them a little heavy.. which is a surprise considering how easily you can hear other sounds that exist from outside of them.. The cushion on them is really good but they still clamp onto my head crushing my glasses into the side of my head making them kinda uncomfortable to use for over a 2 hours if I'm not fully into my gaming experience.

There's a lot to consider when selecting a gaming headset, but sound quality really should be your highest priority – no amount of fancy features can make up for atrocious audio. And here's the thing: most gaming headsets sound very poor. The majority that we've listened to (and we've listened to many more than the few we recommend below) strongly lean towards bass, which might sound like a good thing, but those low frequencies are usually of such poor quality that everything gets drowned out by a soft, woolly bottom-end.However, i can't hear my camtasia recording and don't even know if the microphone is working with it. Xiberia has always adhered to the brand culture of “Geek, Extreme，Cool” and continue to launch “geek game equipment” for gamers. So I would not buy these earphones again.. but I do feel like most people at this price point of 20-25 dollars would find this to be excellent value.. I personally just find them not comfortable enough to recommend them.. but also know a big issue for me is the fact I wear glasses... So its going to be hard for me to find anything that works as long as there is a big ear cushion around the edge... but the thing the makers could do.... is not make a huge control box that rides up into my armpit.. that is just intolerable.
