I like the internal design where it uses an isolation transformer to power the sealed brushless motor and control board. It should be very safe electrically! Some say, the flow rate isn't as good but when I measured it on full power against my old Triton it came out to be the same at 9 l/m however at the mid position it was only 4.5 l/m compared to 6 l/m for the old one. That was using the hose and shower head in the mid position. Still it's good to save water and energy and my wife can't tell the difference... I’ve been using previous model for many years and the temp control started playing up. Decided to still using Triton brand which is now this model AS2000SR. To replace it took me about 90mins. I was following Triton’s instructions and video. It was quite simple and straight forward. Due to be a bit different shape new holes had to be drilled - I recommend to use Bosch Expert drill to make new holes in tiles. New power shower is silent and to compare to old version is a massive difference. I really recommend this shower unit… my tenant is very happy

I had an earlier version of this shower which developed a fault and kept tripping the electric. It lasted about 5 years of twice or more daily use. Ease of installation - Multiple cable and water entry points and large footprint makes an ideal replacement for existing Triton power shower installations We were replacing a failed unit we had restored in 2012 which had always performed well if noisily.

Having replaced the previous incarnation of this range (which was EXCEPTIONALLY NOISY), this unit is a joy! I made the mistake of getting a plumber to install, when I could have done it myself, and made sure it was correctly tightened (which the plumber failed to do!). It doesn't seem to be as powerful as the previous one, but that is probably all in the mind, since it is so quiet! I would say the newer version is not as nice to look at as the old one, but that's far outweighed by it being so quite.
