This is a really enjoyable book because it has some funny bits, especially when Biscuit always talks and thinks about food! Tim can't wait to go on holiday - especially as he gets to bring his friend Biscuits along. But their trip unexpectedly becomes truly, terribly adventurous when an encounter with two local bully-boys threatens to disrupt the fun. Haha! This book was very funny and humerous, and if you have been bullied please read this book because it shows you how to get through it. A very popular book, love it!!! =) Jacqueline is also a great reader, and has amassed over 20,000 books, along with her famous collection of silver rings. It's the summer holidays and he and his family are going on holiday and Tim is bringing his best friend Biscuits. Tim cannot wait for this trip. But the trip unexpectedly becomes truly, terribly adventurous and when an encounter with two local bully boys threatens to disrupt the fun. Tim will have to make a choice whether to run away or to stand up for himself. While this one was still quite cute, I remember not enjoying this one as much as the first one when I read them as a kid. I think it might be because Tim was starting to get on my nerves by that point! I read this one to my class of Year 3s (7-8 years old) and they really enjoyed it. Especially after I read them the first book on the series, Cliffhanger, they were super excited to find out more about Tim and Biscuits! I did feel like the first half of the book did drag on a little bit, with not much happening it was more for developing characters in my opinion.

The plot was not particularly engaging.
