Hairspray doesn’t have a set time to be used. Whether hair is in need of a heavy hold or just a light spritz in awkward places that aren’t playing by the rules, it can be used whenever suits. Naturally, hairspray becomes particularly useful in windy and/or wet weather to ensure that their carefully styled hair doesn’t fall flat. It’s also useful in situations that take place in rooms with bright and hot lights as it strengthens the hairstyle and keeps it in place in stuffy situations. These two ingredients leave a residue in the hair and if you run your hands through your hair, that will amplify it. If you can find a hairspray that doesn’t contain polymers or silicons, you will be able to style your hair without the fear of flaking. For which hair type is hairspray best suited? Always apply hair product before using hairspray, be it wax, pomade or gel. You still need to style the hair the way you want it to look by using your product of choice. For example, if I were to use a pomade, that would be my foundation to the style.
