you’ll need to press the SYNC button for 2 seconds. You’ll notice that the antenna symbol on the lower left of the screen will start blinking. Now turn the select dial until a capital “M” is displayed next to the antenna. Next set of tests I did were completely non-scientific in nature but gives a basic comparison of power between the TT350F and the Yongnuo 560IV. Press the

button to enter C.Fn ID. Press the button to choose OFF channel expansion shutdown, and choose any figure from 01 to 99. TTL: Fully Automatic Wireless Flash Shooting Autoflash Shooting with One Slave Unit While this 'might/ seems' to be true for the X-T/ X-Pro cameras, it certainly isn't for the X-E models.

I went with the V860F over the TT685 and love it. I would have considered the V350F, but it had not yet been released. Using a flash (master/slave) with a radio transmission wireless shooting function make it easy to shoot with advanced wireless multiple flash lighting, in the same way as TTL autoflash shooting. Display" HI": When the flash output value is up to the maximum value, "HI"will be displayed and blinking for 3 seconds. Adjust the camera's parameters if underexposure appears. In this user manual, "master unit" refers to the camera flash on a camera and "slave unit" will be controlled by the master unit. While the flash does have a bounce card, I prefer using reverse bounce for on-camera situations to create a larger light source coming from behind me.Tip: Make sure that you are running the latest firmware on both camera and flash! Godox/Flashpoint firmware upgrade procedure Windows In Master mode, press the Slave button to alternate between the Master group (M) and the A, B or C groups. Use Power Switch to power the flash unit on (Long press the button for one second) or off. Turn off if it will not be used for an extended period of time. Setting as a master flash, it will turn the power off automatically after a certain period (approx. 90 seconds) of idle use. Pressing the camera shutter halfway or pressing any flash button will wake up the flash unit. Setting as a slave flash, it will enter sleep mode after a certain period (adjustable, 60 minutes by default) of idle use. Pressing any flash button will wake it up. The camera opens but no indicators appear on the screen. No button works and I can't turn it off. I have to remove the battery for it to turn it off.

Information displayed includes current mode, power, groups, channels, zoom, and under/over exposure when in TTL mode. It is easy to see what your settings are at a glance. Disturbed by the 2.4G signal in outer environment (e.g. wireless base station, 2.4G wifi router, Bluetooth, etc.) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. As a master unit, TT350F can control the following slave unit models: AD600, AD600M, AD360II-C, AD360II-N, AD200. Torn between those two flashes for my xt2. Use mostly shooting kids at home, kid birthdays, family functions, etc. Value smaller size of 350, but not sure if just go with 685 for its better performance. I am leaning toward 350, but hoping to hear from people with experience. Plan mostly on camera use in the near future. What do you think? Thanks! That your TT350-F is not in S1/S2 modes (these are optical slave modes, and tell the flash to ignore the hotshoe, and "listen" to the sensor panel instead) The v350 needs a battery gauge as you are not likely to be carrying a spare propitiatory battery with you, so the gauge is there to hopefully prevent you getting caught out. With the TT350 you can judge the length of your shoot in advance and so adjust your battery requirements - by bagging another 2 (or 4) AA batteries with you. Point the flash head straight ahead and then upward by 90°. The catchlight will not appear if you swing the flash head left or right.

Let’s get to the meat of this unit: its features. In short, it’s special because it gives you access to the Godox ecosystem. The flash itself is much like any other hotshoe offering of its size; It's slightly less powerful than the flagship offerings from the big manufacturers. However, you get a built-in Godox 2.4 Ghz transceiver. Before we get to that though, let’s take a look at the other features the unit offers. The Standard Fare Because, unlike you, I shoot off-camera flash far more than on-camera, it was much easier for me to get a TT350-O for my GX7 for on-camera fill/bounce, and then primarily use it as a radio master for my two TT600 and TT685-C. Once you put it on a lightstand, the size/weight of a speedlight doesn't matter so much...Per the spec sheets, you can get over 500 full power pops with the V350F vs. 210 with 2xAA NiMH batteries in the TT350F. The spec sheets also claim the V350F max recycle time is 1.7 seconds vs. 2.2 seconds max for the TT350F. The basic relative position and operation range are as shown in the picture. You can then perform wireless TTL autoflash shooting just by setting the master unit to < TTL>. High Speed Sync (Hss flash) enables the flash to synchronize with all camera shutter speeds. This is convenient when you want to use aperture priority for fill-flash portraits. The room is completely dark at the time of taking the photo, white ceiling is 3m high and room dimensions are 9m x 5.5m although not completely square. Apologies for the state of the room but my wife is away and I’m with 2 kids so this is about as clean as it stays with one parent. What happened to Profoto? At the time of writing, the long-awaited Profoto A1 for Fujifilm has not materialised and is no longer a priority product for the company. Phottix is lurking on the horizon and rumour has it that it is developing a one-size-fits-all trigger that will attempt to identify your camera at switch on. Cactus is another company that went down the universal trigger route and it didn’t work out well for Fujifilm shooters.
