Description

Nestea is me of the Nestle brand, which was established at the end of the 1940s. The brand represents a soft flavored beverage, based on an ice tea. Today there are several Nestea flavors available, including lemon and peach, and some seasonal modifications, which vary from country to country. 1950 – 1960 The elegant contoured uppercase letter in g from the primary logo of Nestea is set in a custom serif font with playful ends of the bars. The closest fonts to the one, used in this insignia, are, probably, Revans Semi Bold, or Majesty Bold, but with some significant modifications. In the early days Nestea struggled in Europe, where people drank it hot. But it thrived in the States, where they used the powder to make iced tea. Sales accelerated from 1956, when we tweaked the recipe so it dissolved easily in cold water. The redesign of 1997 made the logo from 1989 colorful. Now it was a blue logotype in a thin white outline, placed on a stylized banner with a texture of an ice-cube, executed in geometric figures of two shades of blue. The only “non-blue” element of the badge was the three-leaves emblem, which was executed in solid green and perfectly balanced the whole composition. 2003 – Today Antioxidants: Nestea Iced Tea is a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect the body from damage caused by free radicals and have a positive impact on heart health.

[5] In addition, Nestea ready-to-drink iced tea is made with stevia extract and can be found in different flavors such as lemon, raspberry and peach. [6] The new recipe sources its tea leaves from Nilgiri, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Indonesia. Fancy a steaming hot cup of Nestea?” “Umm…thanks, might give that one a miss.” If that question sounds like a conversation stopper on a first date, when we launched Nestea in 1947, some people really did like it hot! In the 1950s we even referred to Nestea as the ‘twin brother’ of Nescafé! And like good parents everywhere, we’re proud of our offspring. However, some customers have expressed that they find the tea to be too sweet and that they would prefer a less sweet option. Some have also mentioned that the tea is a bit weak in flavor and that they prefer a stronger tea taste. Caffeine: Some iced tea varieties, including Nestea Iced Tea, contain caffeine, which can help to boost energy and improve mental alertness.
