Description

From the time the new stills took up the baton until only very recently, the Midleton Distillery was the only source of traditional pure pot still Irish whiskey, for many is the quintessential style of Irish whiskey. It forms the heart of the Jameson and Power’s blends and can be experienced in all its glory in the likes of Redbreast, Green Spot and Yellow Spot.

Our Service is an online platform which provides Members with information (e.g. bottle facts, market-indices, market values and prices) on (mostly) whisky and allows Members to add information to the platform. We do not sell, nor does the Service provide any option to buy, any alcoholic products. Jameson Triple Triple and Jameson original Irish whiskey have a similar triple distillation process, but Jameson Triple Triple is a triple threat. By blending the suave sophistication of bourbon and sherry casks with the bold flavours of Málaga casks, we’ve created a spirit that’s simply unparalleled. What does Jameson Triple Triple taste like? If we decide not to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms, such decision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Jameson is made at the Midleton distillery in Country Cork by Irish distillers and they have with this new expression aimed to create a new taste experience through enhancing the single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys through triple cask maturation. Whiskybase B.V. (“Whiskybase”, “we” or “us”, company details below) offers a whisky enthusiasts online platform that provides its members access to the most comprehensive, transparent and trusted resource of whisky bottles and allows and stimulates its members to contribute information about whisky bottles to the platform (“Service”). We may, but are not under any obligation, to release new functionalities and tools or other features for the Service every now and then. Any new functionalities, tools and features shall be part of and governed by the Terms from the moment they are launched and/or available. Further, we reserve the right to modify, change, discontinue the Service, add or remove features, update the Service, change its appearance, temporarily and permanently, at any time, in whole or any part thereof. The spices and cereals drive the finish, which is of decent length. This is particularly true once the sweeter and fruitier elements fade, and this gives the whiskey a pleasant bittersweetness and grip on the taste buds. This new expression of Jameson is easy drinking, soft and deliciously rich. The warming spices and gingerbread/cake notes combine wonderfully with the juicy and jammy characteristics of tropical and stone fruits. The three cask maturation, and the inclusion of the ex-Malaga wine casks in particular, seem to have helped accentuate all of these elements.

Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, your use of and membership to the Service are exclusively governed by Dutch law. We shall first try to settle any dispute over a dram of whisky. Disputes that cannot be settled over multiple drams of whisky shall be solely submitted to the court of Amsterdam, The Netherlands unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise. The Service has been prepared by us solely for information purposes to Members and the Service is based on information we consider reliable and we obtain the contents of the Service from a number of different third party sources (including Contributions), but we do not endorse, support, represent, warrant or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of the Services and any information therein. Each time Jameson whiskey is distilled it becomes stronger in character, adding more sweet, fruity flavours and a smoother taste than other types of whiskey. Is Jameson a sipping whiskey? Jameson Triple Triple is only available in a litre bottle at travel retail, so next time you’re jetting off be sure to find the rare bottle. How much alcohol is in Jameson Triple Triple?

Nothing in the Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct by us. As part of the plan, Jameson’s Bow Street and Powers John’s Lane stills would fall silent, ending the era of whiskey distilling in Dublin, once the world’s greatest whiskey distilling city. No partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship is created as a result of your use of the Service. The following indicators should be taken as only a guide and not a set of hard and fast rules. Some "premium" whiskeys really are quite terrible, while some mass market products are good enough to pour into a decanter and serve to the Duke of Edinburgh. A+: A masterpiece and one of the ten best whiskeys of its type. Above five stars.

Jameson is currently owned by Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard and is produced at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork. This was built in 1975 to replace the old Bow Street distillery in Dublin, which is now home to the brand's visitor centre and was built by founder John Jameson in 1780. Midleton makes both single grain and single pot still whiskeys with a combined capacity of 64 million litres per year. This goes towards Jameson, which is the best selling Irish whiskey in the world, and other Irish Distillers brands such as Green Spot, Paddy and Redbreast.
