The best thing about this game is the user-generated map aspect. There’s an immense level of customization with Infinite Minigolf that allows users to make their own maps and share them with the community. This means that there’s always something new for you to try out in this game, whether you want to play through a map or make your own.

Forget serious golfing for a second. If you simply want to have fun, they don’t come much more enjoyable than What the Golf?. Unless you’re looking for a serious sim, this is hands-down the best golfing game on Switch. Trust us.Mario Golf: Super Rush certainly isn’t the most challenging golf game on the market, but it is truly enjoyable for relaxed, casual gaming. The customization is incredibly smart, the game plays smoothly and there’s plenty for both solo and multiplayer adventures. Dog Gone Golfing For those who prefer their golfing games much less serious, Infinite Minigolf is for you. A series of minigolf (or crazy golf, depending where you live) courses, it’s all about making precise putts and having a lot of fun in the process.

Golf! With explosions! That’s pretty much the elevator pitch for Super Inefficient Golf, and honestly, what else do you need to know? It’s not exactly a realistic golf sim, but it is one of the most fun golf games out there, and is great fun to play with friends. Golf Story takes place in a delightfully vibrant world, complete with old school pixelated graphics and colorful characters. The general premise here is that you’re an up-and-coming golfer, who got into the game by playing it with your father as a child. The game revolves around you getting into the pro scene, getting a coach and turning a club house into a bustling hub of sporting activity. There are other issues too, mostly of a technical kind. The course designer present in other versions of the game is here and fully featured, which is massively welcome, but the whole thing slows to such a crawl that it’s an exercise in patience: while we appreciate HB Studios’ efforts in making sure the Switch version isn’t missing any features, this one is maybe a bit too much for the Switch to handle. The shell-shielded Koopa Troopa and nimble Ninji dash (and glide) across the green in the latest free update to the Mario Golf: Super Rush game. Koopa Troopa can make the ball bounce several times and Ninji can use Glide Dash and float over opponents on the way to the next hole. Chill out on the snowy Blustery Basin course as you navigate mountains and avoid blizzards. Stay sharp on the Spiky Palms course, a desert oasis with plenty of perilous points. Take it easy or give yourself a challenge with the newly added ability to change the CPU skill level!

Move, play, smile.

Now, Golf Club Wasteland isn’t exactly a traditional golfing game. It does, however, require you to consider the trajectory of your ball, hit with the appropriate amount of power, and try to get in the hole as efficiently as possible. But rather than playing on a green, you’re instead playing on an apocalyptic wasteland. This is Earth, in the future, when all it is good for is a rich man’s crazy golf course. It can be played alone, but Infinite Minigolf is at its best when you’re competing against friends. With full local multiplayer support, you’ll score points for putting your ball in the fewest shots as well as hitting various collectibles that are dotted around every course. It’s not the most serious golf game on Switch, but it sure is a lot of fun. Could it be better? Definitely! Hopefully they will include some courses and fix the bugs at a later point, but for now I'm just trying to get my swing together and learn how to play. There is not too much of a storyline to follow along with in this game, aside from a note-based story between two interesting characters. The world design is what really makes A Little Golf Journey stand out, though. It’s absolutely beautiful, containing 9 unique islands to explore. The world themes are truly interesting, with everything from ruined castles to enchanted forests.

Rookies can take advantage of real-time tutorials, tips and shot suggestions. Already a pro? Master your game with Pro Vision, Distance Control, Putt Preview, and other innovations. In this game, you swap out your typical golf clubs and courses for a handful of powerful explosives and puzzling layouts to work through. You have to add explosive devices to your golf ball in a strategic manner to get it into the hole, navigating physical hurdles and difficult maps along the way. I also agree with the review here about other courses, if you like golf, then you would like to have St.Andrews included, or just any other courses than the ones from the U.S. It feels like they made a game for people from the U.S, and didn't include the rest of the world. Infinite Minigolf is a lighthearted, arcade style game that has plenty of game modes and content to keep you occupied. There are solo tournaments and maps to explore, and plenty of multiplayer options as well.Out of all the multiplayer golf games for the Nintendo Switch, Party Golf is one of the best. It’s a fantastic buy if you’re looking to keep a group of friends entertained with a silly yet well made sports game, and also offers plenty of fun for solo players, too. Players all hit their golf ball at the same time in Party Golf, making for a beautifully chaotic and silly game. This may sound like it would be too messy on screen, but Party Golf has a surprisingly pleasant, simplistic style that makes it easy enough to follow along with. It’s a genius gameplay mechanic, and lends itself to the many game modes available within the game itself.
