While both headphones are lightweight and comfortable, the G535 are better-built, they have a longer-lasting continuous battery life, and their boom mic has better noise handling. G535 is Discord Certified to guarantee crystal clear communication performance with excellent sound and voice clarity. Like most gaming headphones from this manufacturer, they're compatible with Logitech G HUB software, which allows you to customize their otherwise neutral sound to your liking using the graphic EQ plus presets. The G535 Lightspeed’s fit and finish aren’t as luxurious as you might find in more expensive headsets: it has a utilitarian feel to it, being mostly constructed from tough black plastic.

It's limited to PC and PlayStation, and the microphone is not detachable, but it certainly lives up to its namesake.

Needless to say, my interest was piqued by the Logitech G535 Lightspeed, which was released in June and claims to be one of the lightest gaming headsets on the market, supposedly making for “hours upon hours” of comfortable gaming. However, if you like to game with others, their boom mic's overall performance falls a bit short compared to other gaming headphones like the Astro A50 Gen 4 Wireless 2019. From footsteps on a bomb site to a recon drone deploying in the other room, I can hear everything perfectly. The adjustable suspension strap along the top of the headset is the star of the show, despite its questionable colour and pattern choice.
