Description

A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential. The album features iconic tracks such as “Paranoid,” “War Pigs,” and “Iron Man,” which have since become mainstays in the world of rock and heavy metal.

Just make sure it has a GATEFOLD - there were some counterfeit "NEMS" LP's on 180 gram vinyl that were released about ten years ago which aren't good, but they are easily recognized by the "180 Gram" sticker and the fact that they are not gatefold sleeves. I have a 1985 German NEMS press that sounds fantastic and I got cheap, but I almost never play it cause of Evil Woman. In the 1960s, the hippie culture saw Birmingham become a vessel of musical activity, but it wasn't until Black Sabbath formed in 1968 that the city's overt bleakness motivated the birth of a thick and aggressive sound that reflected the reverberating cacophony of factories and steelworks. This edition stays true to the original, maintaining a nostalgic and visually captivating presence for collectors and fans alike.

I compared it to a 71 LP pressing and sounds very good and I can hear more of the reverb in the mix, my LP might be a little warn as its over 5o years old but still in great shape.
