Description

Devils Line is a series that explores deep themes such as the duality of human nature, the conflict between good and evil, and the difficulty of finding one’s place in a world that rejects us. The story takes place in a modern world where demons live in secret among humans, trying to control their predatory instincts while yearning for a normal life. If a second season were to see the light of day, it is very likely that the original cast of the anime will return, thus enriching the plot with new characters. “Devils Line” is, after all, based on a popular manga that captivated its readership with a complex plot and deeply developed characters.

Crunchyroll, a platform specializing in Asian content, has carved out a place for itself in the hearts of anime fans with its rich collection of popular and lesser-known works. Moreover, with its subtitling options in multiple languages, Crunchyroll offers a personalized viewing experience to its users. The story focuses mainly on the turbulent relationship between Tsukasa and a demon/human hybrid by the name of Yuuki Anzai. Their love story, strewn with challenges and twists, is the red thread of the series. The first season, which ended on a dramatic note with Tsukasa saving Anzai’s life by giving him some of his blood, sparked feverish anticipation among fans for what would happen next. For its part, HIDIVE stands out with its diversified catalog, ranging from classic series to new releases, including animated films. This platform is also appreciated for its dubbing options in several languages, allowing everyone to enjoy the series in the language of their choice. The Devils' Line ( デビルズライン , Debiruzu Rain ?) manga series is written and illustrated by Ryo Hanada. It was first published in March 2013 and is serialized in Kodansha's Morning Two, and Kodansha Comics is publishing the series digitally. An official English version by Vertical Comics began serializing the manga in May 2016. The manga is completed and is compiled into 14 volumes, the last volume serving as a side story and continuation of the main series.a b c d e f g "Devils' Line Anime Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, April Debut". Overall, this wasn't bad. I'm not sure I'll continue with the series but I had a lot of fun reading it. The first season of Devils Line was a success, despite the fact that the series didn’t receive as much attention as one might have hoped. The low popularity of the series could be one of the reasons why the second season has not been approved yet. However, it is important to note that the series has not been officially canceled, thus leaving a ray of hope for the fans.

A couple more characters are introduced in this volume, adding a little more complexity to the setting and/or story, but, on the whole, this is pure entertainment with plenty of light touches to counterbalance the horror. Finally, Netflix, with its global presence and growing commitment to original content, could also be a streaming choice for the second season of Devils Line. The platform has already proven its interest in Japanese animation series, with several exclusives to its credit. The story is just really great. Kaneki Ken's long lost vampire brother wants to drink human blood, but not because he is a pervert or hungry, but because if he does not, he turns into a monster

Sentai Filmworks Licenses Devils' Line". Anime News Network. March 21, 2018 . Retrieved March 21, 2018. Meine Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Verlauf der Geschichte gefiel mir sehr, obwohl ich den ersten Band etwas langsam am Start fand aber irgendwie muss man ja in jede gute Geschichte eingeführt werden. The setting was nice, too -- the story occurs mostly during winter/Christmas, additionally with very minute character interactions, so it's very soft and quiet. Mixed with the plot's slight darkness, it created a really great atmosphere that played on the loneliness of Anzai and Tsukasa, as well as their time together. (I feel like the Japanese just really understand this concept of "winter loneliness" so well! I notice a lot of mangaka use winter in their stories in this way, and it's one of my favorites styles.) The action sequences always seemed to come at the end of each chapter, so we were allowed some downtime in-between to appreciate the "stillness" of the world. Finally, Platinum Vision is a relatively young animation studio, established in 2016. Despite its young age, Platinum Vision has already animated about 11 animes, demonstrating an ability to produce quality series in record time. Their technical expertise helped bring the complex universe of “Devils Line” to life. But what really sets this manga apart from "vampire romances" is how thoroughly unromantic theDevils' Line version of vampirism is. It's not uncommon for a romance to bill itself as a "Beauty and the Beast" story. But it's rare for the reader to really feel that the beast is actually a danger to the beauty. If the beast is a vampire, his longing for the blood of the beauty is used as a metaphor for his passionate love for her. I thought this was fine. As I said, it's basically a darker TWILIGHT, but I liked TWILIGHT even as I wished it were darker, so this ended up working out for me just fine. I probably would have liked it more when I was younger, as both characters look very young. Tsukasa looks like she could be in middle school and Anzai kind of reminds me of "L" from Death Note with higher cheekbones. So naturally, when I go to the manga shop “just for a browse” and I’ve been jonesing for something a bit dark, with maybe some slow burn and a tiny bit of tortured tension or “it’s so bad it’s good”, I am BOUND to come out with something. I have never personally heard of the new studio Platinum Vision before, most particularly they made Servamp (with Brain’s Base) and the spin-off from the Saiyuuki Reload series, but this anime just proves that just like many 2nd or 3rd rate studios, it falls in the category of being mediocre and bad. The manga-to-anime adaptation…is quite frankly nothing more of good. I get it that the producers tried their best to replicate the manga, but try as hard as they can, it still falls short. The animation is less than Tokyo Ghoul quality, more so than ripping it off, it’s bearable to watch but when the action gets heavy, RIP animation quality.
