Superhuman Durability: Optimus has superhuman durability, he has shown to withstand tremendous amounts of punishment and completely immune to bullets, punctures and concussions. Some versions of this figure feature tabs on the top of the inside of the front window frame, that have no hole to peg into on the robot torso, seeming to be remnants of a late-stage design change, that do interfere with vehicle mode holding together. Optimus, under the guise of a simple hibachi chef, was forced to fight Megatron at his place of work. Hibachi Chef Optimus Prime's involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, were also chronicled in the books " Mission at the Museum" and " The Search Is On".

Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots. Long ago, he was the humble leader of Cybertron's science division, which studied the AllSpark, and were protected by Lord High Protector Megatron's military. When Megatron was corrupted by The Fallen, Optimus discovered that he was the last of the Dynasty of Primes, hidden away when The Fallen destroyed their lineage. In response to Megatron's attempts to seize the AllSpark and conquer other worlds, Optimus assumed his proper title and rallied the Autobots to stand against the Decepticons. Optimus Prime is a fictional robot superhero and the main protagonist of the Transformers film series and the leader of the Autobots, the last Prime, and the brother of the Decepticon leader Megatron. He is also known as "Orion Pax". When the AllSpark was destroyed in Mission City, Optimus was bathed in its power and became a living receptacle: he could destroy or heal with the merest thought. He still remained dedicated to peace and altered his exterior decorations to match the ones he bore as a young leader, before the beginning of the war. First Strike Optimus Prime When Starscream came out of hiding, Prime teamed with Arcee to hunt him down. Arcee, Starscream & Optimus Prime Surprisingly, this was also the first Hasbro exclusive transforming Movie Optimus Prime figure to be based on the final design seen in Age of Extinction. He even features the forearms that Prime had before obtaining the Sword of Judgement, which unfortunately means that he is inaccurate to his appearance in the battle of Hong Kong and the entirety of The Last Knight. The sword's blade is still painted as the heated-up version from the concept art. Optimus was seen firing a basketball from his blaster in an ESPN commercial with Mark Cuban. Optimus led the Autobots in a giant battle against the Decepticons. Bumblebee got blown to pieces during the fight, prompting Optimus to promise he would avenge him... despite Bumblebee insisting he was okay. After taking out his fare share of Decepticons, Optimus noticed the audience. He took a break from the fighting to recap the feature film adventures of the Transformers, and introduced the Dinobots. Then the fighting started all over again when a pizza was delivered to the battlefield. Take Us to the Movies Take Us Through the Movies

Optimus Prime has a wide range of articulation for a relatively bulky figure. He has ratcheting joints in his shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees, with swivel joints and ball joints supporting them in his biceps, lower knee joints, and ankles. His hands even have individually articulated fingers and thumbs!Despite the destruction of Earth being stopped, enough of Unicron's life force had been transmitted to Cybertron that it could again support its people. Optimus reflected that both humans and Cybertronians would have to work together to rebuild both their worlds before he sent out a call for all Autobots across the galaxy to return to Cybertron so they could begin rebuilding. Optimus Prime was to have an extended role in the opening scene of Bumblebee, having a Cybertronian vehicle mode, though it was cut for time. Concept art for a more Cybertronian robot mode and vehicle mode was created by Alex Jaeger, though the film ultimately uses a model closer to his Earthen robot form. [9] After Optimus was injured by a shot, a little boy come over to him and offered him an Oreo cookie. The generous act somehow gave Optimus the strength to go on, and he thanked the child before running off to do whatever heroic thing he was in the middle of. Age of Extinction Oreo tie-in commercial The TakaraTomy version, part of the first wave of Movie Advanced Series toys, is dubbed "Classic Optimus Prime", and opts for a deco closer to Prime's previous on-screen appearances, omitting the blue paint on his feet and hands to reveal the gray plastic underneath, and adding new paint details all over. Instead of painting it in clear light blue, his light-piping eyes are neutered with opaque light blue paint. Master Swordsman: Optimus is skilled in using multiple swords, specifically his energon swords until they were destroyed by Galvatron, and claimed the Sword of Judgement from one of the Knights Temenos’s armoury.
