This lovely, soft, cuddly unicorn comes attractively packaged in a colourful cardboard box, which also contains over one hundred re-usable stick-on stencils, four airbrush colours and an airbrush spray. Her initial reaction was squeals of delight – packaging and plush are certainly pleasing to the eye and she wanted to make a start straight away! The toy is aimed at children of six years old and above and young children will require supervision as any activity which involves painting can be a little bit messy, but luckily the paints washed easily away, leaving my granddaughter’s fingers nice and clean.

I warned her once we started spraying the unicorn plush, we couldn’t just wipe it off, so we practised making designs on paper first. After cleaning and leaving the toy to dry for a short while, she can start all over again, decorating the toy in lots of different designs. Overall, I think this product is brilliant, well made, and has inspired my daughter above and beyond what it is actually for.Larger items, primarily outdoor or ride-on products are shipped directly from Hamleys partners and may take longer to arrive. The special chalk-based pens wash off easily with water, so you can create a whole new style for your plush again and again!

She loved colouring unicorn’s hair pink and lilac as her older sister has multicoloured hair and she wanted to copy her style. An added bonus is that the Airbrush Plush Unicorn uses a special chalk-based spray paint which can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. I was very lucky to be offered an Airbrush Plush Unicorn from Canal Toys to review, so my granddaughter was more than happy to help with this.
