Some character prophecies made in the first book aren’t even mentioned again till the last when they are finally fulfilled.Now one of the best parts of this novel for me was definitely the relationship between Moiraine and Siuan and I actually really liked their chemistry together. But those paths are filled with complications and dangers, for Moiraine is of the Royal House of Cairhien, whose King has just died, and Lan is considered the uncrowned king of a nation long dead, and the plots of those seeking power threaten their lives.
