There are some overlays to limit the stretch in places where lockdown is a higher priority, but even in those areas the upper doesn’t feel overbuilt in any way. Personal: B- (I want to like this shoe more given the well-integrated stability, but the heel is extremely clunky. On the other hand, the Prime X and the adios Pro 2 did not work for me for several reasons, mostly stability issues. The cushioning is made up of two foams: under the mid and forefoot you have Repetitor, and then under the heel there’s a section of Repetitor+. That lack of versatility does count against it given how many great all-rounder options are available.
