A great read I must say. A collection of powerful and sentimental letters that lets you enter different times and spaces, from luxury upper-classes in London to horrifying landfills dominated by battles. a wild, delicious excitement which I would not have lost for the world. So it comes to pass that I lie awake a great part of the night, thinking of you.” Another fun part of October is to go to corn mazes which are sometimes fun and hard to do with friends and family.

p  ppp )p p Some were really funny. There's one inside from Daniel Webster who writes a letter to a woman who forgot her hat at his place after a dinner party. Some of these moved me to tears (Sir Walter Raleigh). Many made me giggle. Most made my heart smile. And few made my brows furrow. It truly is a lost art and confession of faith - written word. While some letters left me at peace, I found a sense of urgency and panic in most letters, desperation. What powerful insight to know that love brought even these powerful figures to their knees. p)pp p pp

Schválně, kolik mužů po tomhle v knihkupectví asi tak šáhne? Anebo je to skutečně cíleno výhradně na muže, pokud by měli potřebu vyznat se svému objektu zájmu a inspirace nepřicházela?

You still fascinate and inspire me. You influence me for the better. You’re the object of my desire, the #1 Earthly reason for my existence.’
