In more recent events, as depicted in Star Wars Rebels, Kanan Jarrus wears the Jaig Eyes sigils on his armor after having them bestowed upon him. But how he got the sigil remain unknown. It is interesting to compare and contrast Rex with Kanan in relation to earning their respective Jaig Eyes sigils. Both underwent great trials and tribulations during battle, and both are considered brave warriors within their fields; however, Rex as a clone soldier was bred for combat while Kanan, a Padawan-turned-rebel fighter, had no such training. In many ways, Kanan's triumphant moment against Maul is even more impressive than Rex's given these circumstances. Nevertheless, both are deserving of this great honor.
