Mark Waid takes Daredevil to new territories, pairing him up against unusual adversaries like Spot, mega-criminal organizations AIM and Hydra, and two particular Marvel villains that I won't mention to avoid spoilers. I also appreciate him as a lawyer (which is not something that is said about lawyers very often, if at all). I hope most readers who read Mark Waid's run to have read Daredevil in the past from other creative teams and since the consensus is strongly positive, I feel like **I** am the only one that didn't seem to enjoy it. DD never had the most brilliant rogue gallery that lets say Spider-Man or Batman has, and Waid used that in such a great way making fun of odd villains like Stilt-Man and Owl but also bringing back old skool villains like The Spot and Kirigi, and also creating new ones like Coyote.
