Spring 2017 will see four books in a new range which sees the Doctor’s regenerations imagined in the style of Roger Hargreaves, creator of the Mr. Of all the original Mr Men characters, Dr Thirteenth most closely resembles Little Miss Sunshine, which feels very fitting considering her generally bright and sunny disposition! These intergalactic pepperpots have been exterminating the galaxy since 1963, enjoying television adventures with every incarnation of the Doctor so far. After his death in 1988 his son took over the reins and continued to create the popular characters, as of 2015 there were 85 in total and a number were added this year to mark the 45 year anniversary. In 2005, Team TARDIS (then consisting of the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler) was bolstered by the inclusion of Time Agent, Captain Jack Harkness.

As this story was written before the Thirteenth Doctor’s first series hit our screens, it sadly isn’t able to make reference to this Doctor’s adventures in the same way as the previous Doctor Who /Mr Men books have.Classic creatures the Silurians were here long before the human race and didn’t look too kindly upon our kind.

It combines familiar elements of the television series (such as some Sontarans, and Graham affectionately referring to her as ‘Doc’) with the whimsical wit of the original Mr Men stories. He assumed the role of bringing Mr Men and Little Misses into being after his father’s death in 1988, c reating new characters such as Little Miss Princess and Mr Cool, while taking the old favourites on further adventures into history and beyond.

The Cybermen, who just recently appeared on television with the Twelfth Doctor and Missy in the epic Series 10 finale, World Enough And Time / The Doctor Falls, first appeared over fifty years ago! In August 2017 BBC Worldwide licensed Japanese toymakers Sanrio, in conjunction with Chelmsford-based brand and marketing specialists RP2 Global, to make Doctor Who Mr Men figurines.
