I find this troublesome because it assumes that everyone will intuitively know where to put the hub to reach your IR devices or where to place blasters. However, the instructions do not speak to the proper placement of the hub for correct use or how to connect and place IR blasters. If the HUB is not connected to the network or the network fails to be configured or the HUB is disconnected from the network, the indicator light of the HUB will be in green ，but the normal way is in blue. I hope your experience gets better, but from my unit and my experience, I stand by saying that it’s not perfect, but I expect it to get darn close.

I do hope that Sofabaton will eventually give us options for this so we can dial it into our preference. But I also want to remind you all of some of the really buggy and poorly designed Harmony remotes that led to the Elite. Where I can place my Harmony IR blasters 8 - 12 inches from IR device without problem, I had to get the SofaBaton devices much closer.

The app will quickly find the model, download the database, and sync it to the Sofabaton X1 remote control. I don’t mind it because I rarely need to access my devices, so I like not being able to press it accidentally.
