It’s all changed since I wired a radio all we’re just basic wiring with out all the can bus bits. I’m assuming as you can buy aftermarket radios that will fit the T5 & T6 it’s just a case of re positioning the wires to the correct places? I don't use bluetooth a lot but the times i have went well, the people i called didn't have any issue hearing me, bluetooth media link (playing music) is fine too. Third and finally, the sound mixer regularly forgets the audio settings for calls, music, radio, navigation. So you're constantly fighting the mixer changing them up and down when they happen.
