BTW I never undesrtood how can we try now Freesync with an Nvidia Card like mine, even if this monitor in particular is not certicated.

Another downside from the U32J590 is its use of a PWM backlight which can instigate nausea or headaches for sensitive users. Ran the EXE file, drivers were installed so the PC recognized the monitor, but there were no extra controls available. The Samsung U32J590 is a sleek, 32-inch monitor making it suitable for wall-mounting or limited space desks. Find more about how to troubleshoot your Smart Monitor M80B when connecting a device to the USB-C port with Samsung Support. It could be due to panel quality, so some units may suffer from fading or uniformity issues while some may not. Personally, I can catch a projector color wheel only when turning my head quickly, and tried this method, snapping back to the monitor but couldn’t see any flicker even down at 10.

The Samsung U32J590 is a great fit for your needs since it has reasonable color quality, but it will be considerably sharper and more detailed than the other 1440p monitors you listed. But with no speakers, a wobbly stand, only 2 out of 3 inputs actually deliver 60 hertz, and a consumer reported problematic AC adapter, well… If you need super low input lag, this might be a great choice, but otherwise, it’s a mixed bag. I know that every monitor needs it’ s own configuration, but I would like to try yours and see how it looks.

My Contents on your Samsung Smart Monitor will display your favourite photos when the monitor is idle. The Samsung U32J590 managed to squeeze in a pair of built-in speakers in the slim and budget-oriented monitor. Browsing or document processing isn’t affected, but games and movies are difficult to appreciate when the monitor is used in bright areas. With possibly best in class input lag, and 99% sRGB coverage suitable for photo and video work, it does have wobble issues, one input is only 30 hertz, and there’s no speakers. The angle limits are also narrower than previous models, so adding the cost of a VESA arm with a 100 x 100 will be a good idea.

Today we have the 32” 4K Samsung U32J590, a good brightness VA monitor, which we’ve used for about 100 hours already for footage playback, editing and Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K 60 Hertz. Despite its size, the monitor feels and looks sleeker than similar models from other brands such as LG. Furthermore that monitor has a 15 second auto power off time, whereas this screen has a whopping 5 minute auto-off, which is not controlled by the Onscreen Display Time setting. The only issue we see is it would be next to impossible to reach the ports if you wall mount the display, but that’s easily solvable with a bit of effort. The 4-way joystick with one button control we’ve seen on our older Asus VP28U 4K monitor, but since we were usually connected to PC, we didn’t really turn off the unit with a power button.

The screen is capable of decent imaging quality right out of the box, but tweaking it properly enhances it to a level that’s comparable to higher-tiered models. I’ll do video editing and thumbnails etc for youtube and I’m using it as media monitor like web browsing, twitch, youtube videos etc. Performing well with consoles is important and there was no issue with PS4 Pro, and the color and details were great, and this should work well with next gen consoles also. It’s decent brightness, but in a pretty bright room it might seem a little dark, again, no HDR support here.Speaking of inputs, Samsung, if you’re going to hobble one HDMI so that it can only do 30 hertz, you need to mark that somehow near the input, we caught this in the tech specs so we knew what to expect but most consumers will just plug in a source and wonder why they’re having trouble, not cool. Eerie scenes are much more immersive, and games with high contrast hues such as Vermintide 2 look more convincing. And we’re interested to hear what new hardware you want to see reviewed, let us know and we’ll try and get to it.
