Finn was never good enough for Zoe. He knew it. Zoe's family knew it. The village of Hawkes Cove made sure he knew it. Proven when he let her down in the worst way possible. Now a successful businessman, he thought his past was behind him, until a journalist turns up to review his new resort... I loved exploring the island with Zoe and watching things with Finn simmer, fizzle and boil. This is another fab addition to the series and I honestly didn’t want it to end! Zoe is a travel writer, and travels all around the world writing her blog. Following a serious accident when she was younger, Zoe is now in a wheelchair, and her blog focuses on accessibility for disabled travellers. When we meet her here she is in Tahiti, filling in for a fellow blogger who was unable to take the job. It seems like just another job until Zoe meets a blast from the past who shakes things up a bit and makes her question her past and her present. I loved learning more about Zoe and how she has adapted to being in a wheelchair but not letting it get in the way of anything she wants to do, wanting to be treated just like everyone else. More than this though it felt like we got to know who Zoe really was, her personality absolutely shone through in this book, her love of glitter, sequins and mermaids gave this book a little magical touch. Rounded down from around 3.5 stars ⭐️ I absolutely love reading cheesy romance novels at this time of year and this one really fit the bill!

This series is perfect for anyone looking for a light read, a cute summery romance and characters that you fall in love with and root for. And of course the rest of the lost hours girls are present over the phone for Zoe too, so great to catch up with Malie and Victoria from the previous books and I am already looking forward to Lily's story next!Together, they just fit like a puzzle. Zoe and Finn just balance each other out so much, and although there may be times where sometimes fear takes over their senses, they just know the other is there. After years of heartache, they finally overcome the past and start living in the present. They just love each other so much, and it’s that one of a kind, once in a lifetime love you can never replace. Bob Mortimer wins 2023 Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Comic Fiction with The Satsuma Complex When Oliver meets Victoria, he offers a proposition: pretend to be his girlfriend at the opening of his store and he will provide an opportunity for Victoria to showcase her designs. But what starts as a business arrangement soon becomes something more tempting as the fake relationship starts to feel very real. But when secrets in Victoria’s past are exposed, will Oliver walk away, or will they both follow their hearts and find what neither knew they were looking for…? The Meet me in books are quite possibly my favourite series, I would love to have a friendship group like the Lost Hour Girls and I wouldn’t say no to going to Tahiti either! The third romance novel from TV personality Georgia Toffolo (better known as Toff), following Meet Me in London, and Meet Me in Hawaii, sees travel writer Zoe having to deal with life-changing decisions, something she’s more than familiar with. After a car accident left her unable to walk, and having had her heart broken by bad boy Finn (with her wealthy, protective parents a constant presence), she’s now based in a luxury Tahitian resort for work. And then Finn reappears in unexpected circumstances, and Zoe has a whole lot of soul-searching on her hands.

Aspiring clothes designer Victoria Scott spends her days working in a bar in Chelsea and her evenings designing vintage clothes, dreaming of one day opening her own boutique. But these aspirations are under threat from the new department store opening at the end of her road. She needs a Christmas miracle, but one is not forthcoming.Rooftop Rendezvous is another of the Baked Powder Highlighting Trio that I tested. This is another gorgeous trio when it comes to highlighting shades for anyone with a warm complexion. The first shade is a mauve-plum along with a shimmering beige and white color gleaming with traces of pink and violet through it.

Zoe has spent her life facing battles: fighting her parents for independence, struggling with her feelings for local bad boy Finn and, after a car accident at eighteen, adjusting to the fact she would not walk again. She remained strong until the day Finn, the person she thought she could trust, broke her heart... Now a successful travel writer, Zoe is excited to review a new luxury hotel in the beautiful South Pacific - until she meets its owner... It's not often I choose to read a romance, let alone continue with a series. But Toff certainly has me hooked on her Meet Me series, and now I just have to see how every story plays out for each character. This novel has a light-hearted lively narrative, however, I found myself wanting to scream at the two characters at times to 'simply kiss' or 'just say it,' but this isn't a bad thing, it simply adds to the romance and atmosphere. Life has thrown Victoria a couple of tough curves, plus, she’s recently gone through a painful breakup. Now her professional life could be at risk, too, due to the arrival of a new department store opening right at the end of her road. Having read (and loved) the two previous books in this series, I couldn't wait to travel to Tahiti to meet fabulous and fearless Zoe, our next leading lady.

Zoe is a journalist and paraplegic writing about Poerava Resort in Tahiti. But what she doesn't realise is that the owner of the resort is actually Finn Doherty; the man who she was in love with 10 years ago. Fun, flirty and filled with ex-appeal! I was on tenterhooks throughout this gorgeous book and LOVED Zoe’s strength of character.’ Zoe has spent her life doing battle: fighting her parents for independence, struggling with her feelings for local bad boy Finn Doherty and, after a car accident at eighteen, adjusting to the fact she would not walk again. She remained strong until the day Finn, the person she thought she could trust, broke her heart. Now a successful travel writer, Zoe is excited to be reviewing a new luxury hotel for her blog in the beautiful South Pacific—until she meets its owner. When she first sets eyes on Finn again you can immediately sense the tension in the air increasing ten fold, oh boy is there history there! I buddy read this one with Laura again and I think we both had a lot of moments when we wanted to bang their heads together and get them to wake up to what was happening. It seems that everyone can see that they’re both developing strong feelings apart from each other, despite the rather obvious signs… Disclosure note… there is quite a bit of nipple action in the first half of the book!
