I appreciated how Nora’s divorce is presented not as tragic, but as reclaiming her peace after a poorly fitting marriage. She has a full life of kids, friends, and a career that she knows she’s fabulous at. A little sappy, very charming, with a too good to be true "sexiest man alive" (yes, please). It all added up to an uplifting, but unrealistic read! Filled with warmth, wit, and wisdom, Nora Goes Off Script is the best kind of love story—the real kind where love is complicated by work, kids, and the emotional baggage that comes with life. For Nora and Leo, this kind of love is bigger than the big screen. There’s so much to love about Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan that I made a list.Overall though, this is totally worth reading, especially if you want a light, humorous romance with a lot of heart. Rom-coms are all about the appeal of the characters, the dialogue, and the journey. Despite familiar themes, this felt fresh and new to me, and was simply delightful. I especially loved Nora’s relatability, her down-to-earth attitude, and her relationship with her kids and extended family.
